It was the 25th of December, and Yujin and Jinyoung's apartment was buzzing with festive cheer. The aroma of Bulgogi and sweet potatos wafted through the air, mingling with the sweet scent of the towering Christmas tree that adorned their living room.

The guest list was small but cherished – Yujin's parents and older sister, Jinyoung's parents, his older sister with her husband and their two children, a lively six-year-old girl and a curious four-year-old boy. The atmosphere was warm, filled with laughter, occasional bursts of holiday songs, and the undeniable feeling of family.

After dinner, when bellies were full and hearts content, Yujin and Jinyoung decided it was time to share their news. "Could we have everyone's attention, please?" Jinyoung called out, clinking his spoon against his glass.

The room fell into an expectant silence as Yujin, holding Jinyoung's hand, stood up. "We have some news," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "We're engaged."

A collective gasp filled the room, soon replaced by whoops of joy and congratulations. Yujin's sister rushed to inspect the ring, while their parents enveloped them in warm, tear-filled hugs.

As the excitement of the engagement announcement subsided, it was time for the most anticipated event of the evening - the gift exchange. Yujin and Jinyoung had prepared special gifts for their family members. Each present was meticulously wrapped and placed under the Christmas tree.

"We thought it would be fun if everyone opened their presents at the same time," Jinyoung suggested, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.

As the room filled with the sound of tearing paper and excited gasps, Yujin and Jinyoung watched closely. Each adult had been gifted a custom t-shirt, emblazoned with either "I'm going to be a grandparent" or "I'm going to be an aunt/uncle." Along with the t-shirt was a copy of their baby's latest sonogram.

For a moment, there was stunned silence as the message sunk in. Then, Yujin's mother let out a strangled cry, tears streaming down her face as she clutched the sonogram. Jinyoung's father, his face red with emotion, pulled his son into a tight hug. The sisters squealed in unison, Jinyoung's brother-in-law laughed out loud, and even the kids, though not fully understanding the situation, joined in the excitement.

"Are we... are we going to be grandparents?" Yujin's father asked, his voice choked with emotion.

"You are, Dad," Yujin confirmed, her eyes welling up. "We're expecting."

The room broke into another round of cheers and congratulations, this time louder and more emotional. The joy in the room was palpable, their families' reactions more than Yujin and Jinyoung could have ever hoped for.
