Well, this family is proving to be quite interesting already, wouldn't you agree?
The sun rose over the city and the light peaked through a little girl's room and as soon as it tickled her eyes they snapped open.
Anya rushed towards her bedroom window and threw the curtains open with a big smile on her face.
"It's snowing!"
She ran downstairs to find her family already eating breakfast but she ignored them and made a beeline for the back door.
"My isn't she lively." Elvira giggled.
"Ugh...so loud." Alicia grumbled as she had a piece of bacon in her mouth.
"Snow!" Andrew squealed.
"Snow!" Anya yelled as she dove towards it and just when she was about to relish in the white and flurry miracle a pair of strong arms grabbed her and the door slammed shut.
"Ah, Papa?!" She gasped and struggled against his hold.
"It's cold out there, besides you haven't even had breakfast yet." He said and she wilted in his grasp.
He sat her on her seat as she pouted and she scooped some of her egg.
"Don't be upset Anya you can roll around in the snow all you like and I'll make sure to have a nice chocolate cake and hot Cocoa ready for you." Elvira smiled.
"Chocolate feast!" Anya sparkled and gobbled up her food with vigor.
"You know you can't keep spoiling them like this." Loid said.
"Oh come on Loid, it's the most wonderful time of the year!" Elvina smiled.
