As the days passed the team has been getting better with the usage of sign language. Conversations could have been made with most.

Today, was a day of making my own decisions. I was sat in a chair in front of the dining table, with a mirror in front of me, Barton was standing behind me with hair dye in two bowls. The color was brown, and the other bowl had the shade purple.

"Ready?" Barton asked, I nodded, nervous, this would be my first decision without Hydra.

He started to apply the brown coloring first on the roots of my hair. After twenty minutes go by, he gives me a thumbs up. I pull my phone out of my pocket as I occupied myself with a Dino game, as I tried to calm myself down.  The game was supposed to have music, but I couldn't hear the melody it played.  I couldn't tell how many minutes went by, but before I knew it Barton was leading me to the kitchen sink to rinse my hair.

He led me back to the chair to put the other color in my hair, it was hard giving up the control to let him change my hair. After the color was in, some time later, he rinsed the hair again, he then cut my hair to my ears. The dark chestnut brown started at the roots and went down halfway, the purple blended with the brown to make an ombre. He blow-dried my hair and styled it to make some loose curls. My face instantly lit up, I smiled at my new hair—I was ecstatic.

Finally, I was able to make my own decisions, I could live my life the way I wanted to. Never had Hydra let us choose what we looked like—they would dress us up and we had to go with it or-

"Nice hair girl!" Natasha complemented me as I was making my way to the stairway. Her eyes soften as if something hit her.

"Thank-you."

The days ran pass as the days became boring. The Avengers went on missions as I stay in the compound doing nothing but reading. I thought I had read every book I could get my hands on.  Quickly, I found that had not been the case, as someone came home with a bunch I books, which of course was Stark. Stark had been trying to make the compound more accessible to me, and on top of that, been keeping me stocked with books to read while they're out on missions.

Just like last week the team had a mission to go on, instead of leaving me with Loki, I was by myself. I decided to head to the kitchen to try to make some dinner for myself—instead of eating the leftovers from yesterday.

I grabbed a small pot out of the cupboard and filled the pot with hot water. I looked for a Raman packet, which I found moments later. After twenty minutes the Roman was done, I poured it in a cereal bowl. I felt something or someone around me, I held a fork tightly ready for attack. I felt a light grip on my wrist. I turned slowly, not letting go of the fork.

I faced a man in a black suit with a matching tie, a white under shirt. He didn't have much hair, most of his head was bald.

"Calm down, my name is Agent C-o-u-l-s-o-n of S-h-i-e-l-d," he introduced himself. I began to relax, not sensing a threat. Although I was in shock for moments that he could sign. "I was assigned to watch over you while The Avengers are taking care of, well threats." I nodded.

I made my way over to the living room with roman in hand. Agent Coulson followed. I flopped gently on the couch, turning on television. It seems as there was nothing interesting broadcasting on the channels. I landed on a movie that seemed to be entertaining, something called 'Star Wars.'

As I take bites out of my food and watch the television, Agent Coulson sat beside me, watching the movie as well. "Poor Kylo Ren..." I signed after eating.

"He is very misunderstood," Coulson commented, agreeing with me. "It does makes sense to try to eliminate the threat."

I nodded before adding, "It stills feels as though there may be another way, maybe if Luke heard him out?"

"You've never watched this, have you?" he asked with a smile on his face. I shook my head as I joined the smiling.

A/n this may have not been the best chapter to have been written by me, if you have any suggestions on how to improve this chapter I am all ears (as long as it's no hate).
