Another Special (not a chapter)

Did you guys like the wholesome Christmas stories?
Well guess what.
You're getting the opposite today. Sadness.
(It's still gonna be short stories)

"Hey EX?"

"Yeah brother?"

"Are you scared of being alone..?"

"I mean.. the void was quite lonely and since you let me stay here, I never want to leave you."

"Is that a yes?"

"I guess.."

X walked up to his brother and held him in a hug.

"EX. If I ever die before you. I'll come back as a fox or an axolotl as you like them also."

"X.. w- why are you taking about you dying? You won't leave me. Right?"

"I don't know."

"I bet you won't, right X? You promise."

"I promise EX. At least I hope.." X ran out of the room and flew away.
(They were both in the treehouse)

"Wait.. BROTHER!" EX's breath started to quicken, "Brother..?"

EX curled up and started to cry, he didn't want to lose his brother. Not again at least.

*Few days later*

EX went for a walk down by the sea as it was calming to hear the waves.

*bloop*

"Huh?" EX crouched down and held out his hand, looking at the small gold axolotl that had bits of green in along its tail.

'Wait..'
"X..?"

The axolotl looked up at EX and then plopped it's head into EX's hand.

"You.. you broke the promise."

The tiny axolotl took its head out of EX's hand and started to walk around the sand and 'write' something.

'Srry'

"Oh brother.. what did you do." EX sat crisscrossed as the tiny axolotl went into the water to swim around.
"At least your with me still."

.
.
.

"I love you brother."
EX closed his eyes and drifted off to 'sleep.'

The axolotl stopped swimming in the water for a moment to look at EX.
'Goodnight brother.'

The axolotl swam away from the shore and more into the sea.

Ready for another story?

Turns out the past can still follow a person. That person is X, and well.. the 'past' that's following him are the scientists. Well the new scientists. Turns out they still want X.

But what was the reason?

X woke up in a very quiet place, usually there are at least birds chirping outside, but in here there was nothing.

"Welcome back Subject 876."

'What.. I-I'm back..?'
'No..'
'No no no no'
'What about EX?'

"Quit thinking about whatever, it's time to get up."

"Or what."

"Woahh.. I guess the weakling got some attitude now, huh?"

"You know I could've harmed you if I wanted to."

"Yeah yeah, get up or you know.. you have to listen to that music."

"The music that-"

"Yes."

"Where am I going."

"To the yard."

"Do you still have the fences up." X said as he got up and walked over to the scientist with his hands out.

In the next second he had handcuffs around his wrists by a guard.

*sniff sniff*
"Ew, this old guy still works here?"

The scientist snuffled a laugh.
"Let's just go."

*at the yard*

"Your here."

The guard took off the handcuffs.

"Don't you remember Subject 349?"

"Isn't that the ravenger hybrid.."

"You guessed right."
"Have fun with him."

The scientist and guard walked off quickly as Subject 349 walked up to X.

"You're back."

"Imagine not escaping."

"You son of a-" the ravenger hybrid punched X in the stomach.

"That- ow.."

"What if something happened to your pretty horns.."

"You wouldn't."

"You know.. the guards won't help you as your a monster to them."

X felt a hard tug at his right horn.
"Ow!"

"Boohoo!"
There ravenger hybrid ripped off the right horn.

X fell to he ground after he got kicked in the stomach.
He was bleeding.
The horn..

"Oops!" The ravenger hybrid chuckled.
"Isn't it a great feeling to feel what you made the others feel?"

"I never did anything."

"Oh but you did.."

*CRACK*

The ravenger hybrid stomped on X's neck, breaking it with the force.

Everything was silent.

The ravenger hybrid also ran away after breaking X's neck.
X was left there.
To die.

He died there, without being able to care for his brother anymore.

I guess he would have to watch..

'See you on the other side.. brother.'
