Chapter 35

I rub my eyes and acted as if a dust entered into it. "Napuwing lang," I said then faked a laugh.

I threw a short glance at West and his eyebrows were still furrowed.

My back was facing him luckily so I had the chance to wiped the tears away.

West stared at it for a second before his lips folded into a thin line.

He waited for me until I was fully settled behind him. West started the engine abruptly and that startled me a bit.

It wasn't in my intention to hold him but he's running his motorcycle faster than he did before. I wanted so bad to tell him to slow down.

The wind rudely messed a few strands of my hair. Ang ilan napupunta sa mga mata ko. I need to push them away but I was holding onto West's waist. My eyes shut tightly when the wind blew strong gusts of air and that made my hair kind of pricked both my eyeballs. I let go and only my left hand was left holding onto West's waist. I felt his speed slows down a little.

When I finally regained my vision back, I was surprised to see a different road. My lips parted.

Nilingon ko ang dinaanan namin kanina. West was supposed to turn right at the corner but he went straight ahead instead.

I moved the helmet's visor upward.

"Saan tayo pupunta?! " I had to shout a little with the way I asked that question so West can hear me better.

"Uuwi na ako, West. Ihatid mo na ako!" dagdag ko pa.

He looked over his shoulder and said, "Ihahatid kita mamaya." He was shouting a bit too, for me to hear him.

"Ngayon na. Ihatid mo na ako," I ordered but it made me sound a bit too demanding. "Please, I want to go home."

"We won't go home until you tell me the reason why you cried." tuloy pa rin sa pag drive si West.

I was silent for a moment. He didn't believe me when I said something entered my eye earlier, which was a lie. He saw through md and was convinced I was lying.
