Sonic in chaos

I woke up in my bed. Wait, sorry typo, A bed, not mine. I tried to remember what happened, but the last thing I remember is falling asleep after telling shadow the truth 💭 how did I wined up here?💭 "oh. you're awake." I snapped my head around in shock "oh! Shadow!" 

Shadow was sitting to the left of me, on a stood, with a book in hand "Tails suggested that after the stress of revealing yourself, you should sleep on a actual bed instead of the couch"

"could you..." I took a deep sigh "could you sing me a song again? like the one you sang back at the cabin?"  I didn't know why I was asking, I mean there was no way he would actually sing for me *agai-

"sure"     💭wait... what?💭

"sure"

I didn't know why I said yes, but I had just seen sonic 5 minutes ago having a break down over eye colour changer contacts disappearing and fur dye.

"why don't I sing a different one this time?" it was less of a request but more of an order, as I just couldn't sing Maria's song again without her. sonic nodded his head. I put the book I was reading back on the shelf and just as I started to sing- 

*SLAM*   

that stupid fox swinged the door open, causing sonic to fall off the bed in shock. "oops! sorry sonic! but I found the blue fur dye back at my workshop!" sonic bounced back up up instantly "no problem bud" he said with his trademark smile "hey shads? mined if I use your bathroom for a bit?" I shrugged at the question as sonic swiped the fur dye off Tails and ran to the bathroom

I looked towards the small fox, still in the room "he's absorbed all the chaos emeralds..." he looked down at the floor, knowing what I'll ask next "will he absorb the master emerald?" we sat in silence for a bit before he spoke up "I think..." he he swallowed a bit of air 

"I think we have to visit doctor Egg-man..."
