Sonic and his stupid thoughts

💭what?💭 Mephiles had knocked sonic out after their convention earlier and was lying on a crystal above him, but now he couldn't sleep as well, 💭how the hell can mobians ever sleep at night with this kind of thought train going through their heads!?💭 try as Mephiles might, he couldn't sleep, he kept getting flashbacks of the people he's killed but from a different angle, kids screaming for their parents and people trying to defend their friends. Mephiles had always killed because the person will have gotten in his way, he was merely causing them a little pain and a trip to the other side, he never once stopped to think of the aftermath the death had caused. 💭whatever, not like I care about those puny mortals anywa-💭

"Sorry" the voice made Mephiles jump as he looked down sonic, 💭but I knocked him out!? He can't have woken up THAT fast.💭 "what for?" Mephiles didn't understand why sonic was apologising, he hadn't done anything, "you can't sleep either now can you?" Sonic rolled onto his stomach so he could see Mephiles better, "tch" Mephiles rolled his eyes, "I'm Mephiles the dark, I have no need for sleep" sonic raised his eyebrows, "and shadow says that too, don't tell me your too stubborn to admit you need sleep to?" Mephiles scolded, he knew that sonic was manipulating him into being vulnerable but god damn it what was the point, "so what do you wanna do?" Sonic asked as mephiles got down from his support-beam like crystal. Mephiles started thinking for awhile before asking, "I don't know? wanna play a game or something?"
