sonic had jumped in front of me, apparently it was "evil" to kill someone no matter how bad they are, letting Egg-man get away!
me and Shadow had taken sonic back to his base in the woods and healed him up as me and shadow caught up on stuff, but then when shadow got over his shocked, well... lets just say I had to hide in the closet so shadow couldn't see me and would stop crying
"can I kiss him?" shadow asked turning to the closet "for the last time! kissing someone while their asleep is harassment! Sleeping beauty is a lie!" Shadow nodded and continued to watch sonic sleep 💭at least he's not just doing it anyway, his immune system is better then I thought💭 "you'd like him" he mumbled "he's kind like you" he rested his head on his hands "*yawns* and sweet" shadow slowly tucked himself on the couch next to sonic "and... sleepy..." 💭must be the side affects of the shot wearing off💭
I came out of the closet once I knew they were both asleep and walked over to sonic's side of the couch "thanks" I told his sleeping form "thanks for bringing me back long enough to talk to shadow" I looked at my hand, slowly becoming transparent again "but you can't bring the dead back forever, that's just against nature" I walked around to see Shadow crying in his sleep "don't leave me again..." he mumbled "sorry Shads" (sonic says *Shadz* Maria says *Shads*) "thanks for introducing me to your boyfriend though"
Maria touched Shadows forehead to her own as shadows eyes slowly opened "I think I'm ready to let you go now..." Maria smiled and just like that she was gone again as Shadow drifted to sleep.
