(Sorry for the long wait, was busy having fun on Christmas and other stuff. Anyway, another long chapter, enjoy.)

I finish braiding my hair and take a deep breathe. I stretch as I look around in our new home, not too bad. I got my own room so I can have my space. It was originally going to be me and Nya sharing a room but I was uncomfortable with sharing my space and Wu understood and gave me my own. I was ready for the day, then I hear a knock, "Come in!" I reply. The door opens to reveal Wu, "Ah, I see you are up. Did you have a good rest, (Y/N)?" He asks. I nod my head, "Decent." I answer, stretching my arms. He gives me a nod back. "Good, good. The boys have yet to wake, want to help me wake them?" He says. Help wake up the boys, huh? "Okay." I accept.

Wu went to his room, got his gong, and we made our way to the boys' room. I open the door quietly but it still made some noise. Thankfully, the boys didn't wake. Good. I look at Wu and he gives me the gong. I smirk and breathe deeply..... Before banging the gong like a madman. "WAKE UP, SLEEPYHEADS!" I shout. The guys groan tiredly but I kept banging. "Evil doesn't sleep and neither should you! In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity!" Wu says over the noise. "Okay. Okay! We're up." Kai says, hopping down from his bunk. I stop banging the gong and let out a satisfying sigh. I have always wanted to do that.

"But if you want us to reach our full potential shouldn't we get a full night of rest?" Kai says, yawning as he passes me and Wu to open the blinds, but they fall off the windowsill. "You call that rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress." Cole says. I look over at him to find him stretching and heard some cracks from his back. I wince in sympathy. Sheesh, that sounds painful. I give the gong back to Wu and give him a thankful smile.  "We were up so late talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters, I guess we lost track of time since the Serpentine burned down the Monastery. I'm just glad we have a roof over our heads-" Jay stopped talking as spits out sand. He really doesn't pay attention when he rambles.

"What is our lesson today, Sensei?" Zane asks as he starts doing some stances. "Mastering the Strike of the Scorpion or perhaps the Grace of-Whoa-agh!" He stops abruptly as the floor gave out from under him, coughing from the dust. Wow, this place needs a lot of renovating. "I think today's lesson will be chores." Wu states. "Chores?!" The guys say in disbelief. "Ninja fight, Sensei. They do not clean." Cole says. I roll my eyes. Really? Trying to get out of doing work? I don't think so. "Well, if you want to still have restless sleep every night, brushing your teeth with sand, and fall through the floor every five minutes, then don't clean." I tell them, sarcastically.

"(Y/N) is correct. In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it." And with that, Wu bangs the gong and leaves the room. Cole helps Zane up and I walk to stand with them. "Aww, this place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up." Kai complains. "With that attitude, Yes." I sass. "Unless we put more than our backs into it." Jay hints, a smirk on his face. I grab my hands and stretch out my arms. "Welp, let's get to it then." I declare.

The guys equipped their Gis and we all got to work. Cole and I enter a room filled with old items that we didn't really need. "Ninja-Go!" We exclaim and perform Spinjitzu, collecting them up and going outside. We stopped, the objects now piled up and with a sign that read 'Garage Sale'. Cole raises his hand for a high-five and I give him one. Zane and Kai cleaned the rooms, using their weapons' powers to do so. We were trying to get a system up and thanks to Jay providing some electricity, it hums to life. Cole, Kai, and Zane pull on the rope to open the sails, "Ninja-Go!" Jay exclaims as he and I perform Spinjitzu to blow away the dust on the sails.
