With a crack, the figure of Severus stumbles in a flash of light and reappears...wearing a long, lace-trimmed dress, towering moth-eaten hat and holding a crimson handbag.
The class erupts in laughter, some of the Slytherins weary of laughing until they look to see Lilith and Draco cackling in the back. They all joined in the laughter, Neville laughing at the figure of Severus, extremely proud of himself.
Remus chuckles, "Well done, Neville". He points into the crowd, "Ron! Forward!".
He continues to call on different students, each of them having a different boggart. Ron's was a spider, which he made wear roller skates. Parvati's was a vampire that was now dressed like Carmen Miranda and Dean's was a giant cobra turned into a Jack-In-The-Box.
Remus calls out, "Next!".
Harry steps forward, ready for his turn. Concern flickers through Remus' eyes as the Jack-In-The-Box turns into something more sinister. A Dementor. The entire room goes silent as Harry starts to raise his wand. Taking in what he's seeing, he freezes. The Dementor looms closer and closer...
Remus steps in between the two and snaps his wand, "Here!".
The Dementor vanishes and a rolling mist appears, becoming clouds. Something was glowing between the clouds, something white, silvery and round-
"Riddikulus!".
The orb deflates like a punctured balloon and flies back into the wardrobe. Lilith and Draco look at each other in confusion, wondering what the hell just happened. The class cheers as Remus lets out a big sigh.
He turns to face the class, "Well done, everyone. I think that's enough excitement for today".
The students start to funnel out the classroom, the only person staying behind is Harry, still frozen in shock. Lilith stares at Remus, having an inkling as to what is going on.
She walks out the classroom door, Draco and the boys waiting for her. Neville was, presumably, off with his friends.
Draco asks as they start walking, "Everything ok?".
She nods, "Yeah. Just...thinking about what just happened. Like, why did Lupin's boggart turn into clouds?".
Crabbe mentions, "It looked like there was something in the clouds".
Goyle nods, "Almost like...a moon".
Lilith thinks, "Huh".
She looks up to see Neville in his group of Gryffindor friends. She smiles and leads the group over. She smirks as she notices the Gryffindors already upset at them approaching.
She gently taps his arm, "Neville".
He turns and smiles, "Hi guys".
"Well done with the boggart. You had such confidence which is absolutely admirable, my friend".
He smiled sheepishly, "Thanks, Lilith. Your vote of confidence definitely helped. Um, sorry you had to see your father like that".
She laughs, "Don't be sorry, I found it hysterical and will be something I never forget".
Lilith drops her smile and turns to see Hermione standing behind them with her arms crossed, Harry and Ron standing with her.
Draco sighs, "Oh boy".
