Lilith, Pansy and Daphne were gathered together in the boys' dorm room late at night. They were sat in two groups on two different beds, the girls on Draco's bed and the boys on Blaise's.
Pansy was leaning back on the headboard, adding braids into Lilith's hair, who is sitting in front of her; and Daphne on her stomach facing the boys. Meanwhile, Draco was lying back on the pillows, Blaise leaning on the bedpost at the foot of the bed and Theo in the middle of the bed, lying on his back.
Theo turns to Blaise, "So you finally got your head out of your ass and asked him out?".
Blaise flicks his head, "I didn't exactly have to say it".
Pansy smirks, "Yeah, your mouth was too occupied".
He gently hexes her side as Daphne laughs, "Come on, it's a cute story".
He smiles, "Thank you, Daph. I will concur that it has been a long time coming".
Lilith smiles, "Well, at least now you can stop worrying about whether or not he likes you back-".
She gets interrupted by the door being thrown open. They all jump in shock and turn towards the door, seeing Neville leaning against the door, breathing heavily and eyes red like he was crying.
Blaise jumps off the bed and speed walks over, "Darling, what's wrong? What happened?".
Neville looks up at his boyfriend and whispers, "Black".
Blaise's eyes widen and he leads him over to the bed. By this point, everyone was now sitting up and looking at their friend worryingly. Theo moves closer to Draco as Blaise and Neville sit together on the edge of the bed.
Lilith leans forward, "Neville, what's going on with Black?".
He sighs and grabs Blaise's hand, "We were all sleeping in our dorm when Ron suddenly screams, waking us all up. Harry noticed that there was a shadow in the window of...".
Blaise tightens his grip, "Take your time, darling".
"It was a man clutching a knife and peering into the room".
Daphne gasps, "Oh my Merlin, are you ok?".
He nods, "Yeah, yeah, nothing happened, we managed to get out of the room but...". He sighs, "...we're almost certain that Sirius Black was in our room".
Blaise kisses his head and leans it on his shoulder, "I'm just glad you're not hurt".
Lilith crosses her legs on the bed, "I'm guessing that Dumbledore didn't believe you".
Neville shakes his head, "No, neither him nor McGonagall believed us. That's...not all that they didn't believe".
She sighs angrily, "What did they do now?".
"The Headmaster asked the portrait if he had let someone into the common room. He said he did because they had the password to get in".
Theo nods, "Well, Black was a Gryffindor".
"Yeah, but they change the password all the time. Apparently, Black...had the passwords written down on a piece of paper".
Draco scoffs, "What idiot would leave that lying around?".
Neville shrugs, "I have no idea, but everyone assumed that it was me. McGonagall basically said she expected so. I tried to tell them it wasn't me but...they didn't want to hear it".
Blaise sighs, "I'm so sorry they think so little of you, my love".
He leaned his head up, "The only thing going through my mind was that I needed to come and see you, so when everyone else went back to bed, I snuck out and ran here".
Theo leans on the headboard, "Considering how easy it is for you to sneak out, maybe it's not so crazy to think that Black could get inside easily".
