Lilas POV
I dropped the test that was in my hand. I'm pregnant. I grabbed all the tests and hid them in my room. I started packing a bag full of clothes and cash. I wrote a note to everyone explaining that I would be back in a few months. I locked my door and climbed out the window with my bag and caught the 315 freight to windrixvill.
~3 days later~ Ponyboy's POV
I am really worried about lila. she hasn't come out of her room and for the past week she has been puking every morning. I thought maybe u should just let her deal with it on her own. of course Darry and dal will help out. I thought now maybe I should go see her,besides it has been 3 days. I knock on her door and no answer. I knock again and nothing. the third time I knocked nothing again so I broke down the door. I searched the room and found a note on her bed that read 'dear whoever is reading this. I ran away from home. I will be back in a few months but until then don't come looking for me. ~lila.' I felt tears forming in my eyes and clenched the paper. I ran down stairs showing everyone the paper. "Darry, we have to find her...now." I said with tears still forming.
