Chapter 1

Melody's POV
"No I can't be !" I mumble to myself while staring shocked at the stick in my hands before bursting out into tears .(sorry I guess I should introduce my self before I tell you my story well my names melody but most people just call me Mel. I have three of the most amazing friends in the world and an amazing boyfriend you may have already heard of them they are apart of the band 5 Second Of summer! Anyway I'm 19 years old and currently live in Sydney,Australia. Well enough about me lets get back to the story). After about 20 minutes of crying I decided that I have to tell him but we have to do it face to face . So I scrolled through my contacts till I found Michaels contact then I pressed ring. After three rings he picked up . "Hey Mel I was just about to ring you ! I have some great news!" He said before I could get anything in ."well do you wanna meet up in an hour I kinda need to tell you something as well" I said hoping he would say yes ."sure how about the park" he said talking about the park that we always go to . "Sure I'll see you in an hour" I said before hanging up the phone and and hoping into the shower .

Since it is winter here in Sydney I got dressed into a pair of black leggings with a green and light pink floral design. Then I put on a white singlet and a light pink sweater over the top. I then I slipped on my black converse and my black beanie so that I didn't have to do my hair. By the time I was ready I had ten minutes till when I had to meet Michael at the park which is exactly how long it will take me to get there so I grabbed my handbag and my phone and headed out to my car. After I got into my car I started the engine and drove to the park. Once I got there I grabbed my purse and my phone and got out of my car. I walked over to the tree we always sit under. As I was walking over I noticed Michael was already here so I went and sat next to him ."hey " I said with a fake smile . I have no idea how I'm not in tears right now . "Hey babe" he said returning my smile. "I have something to tell you!" We both said at the same time ." You go first" I said to Mikey ."ok" he said before continuing on ."so you've heard of one direction right ?!" He said in which I nodded ." Well they asked me ,Luke ,Ash and Cal if we wanted to go on tour with them for a whole year !" Micheal said which made a huge frown appear on my face. I can't tell him because if I do it'll wreck his one shot at fulfilling his dreams of becoming famous ."so what was it that you wanted to tell me !" Michael said snapping me out of my thought . " Oh ah nothing don't worry. I gotta go" I said before grabbing my stuff and speed walking to my car . "Mel ! Melody ! Wait !" I heard him yell but I chose to ignore him and kept walking. Once I got in my car I immediately drove to my favourite ice cream parlour and ordered myself a cookies and cream. While I was eating my ice cream I watched all the little kids running around . Maybe this is a good thing maybe it's a fresh start !
