Chapter 20

Melody's POV
I was kind of getting worried it's been 20 minutes and he still hasn't come back from the restroom. Did something serious happen ? Maybe I should go make sure he's okay . I got up and headed inside leaving jess on the chair next to where I was sitting. Once I was inside I was walking to the restroom when I heard talking coming from Lily's room . I walked over to her door and peeked through the little gap between the door and the door frame .
Luke's POV
"It was about mummy and Michael fighting. It scares me when they fight !" Lily said a tear rolling down her cheek . "Awe don't cry lily pad , things will get better trust me !" I said wiping the tears on her cheek . "You really think so ?" Lily asked looking up at me . "Yep !" I replied pulling her into a big hug . "Uncwle lukey can I ask you a question ?" Lily asked looking down at the ground. "Yeah sure anything " I said smiling down at her . "I-is m-Michael m-my d-daddy ?" She asked fiddling with her fingers. "Y-yes but where did you hear that ?" I asked curious. "Mummy and m-mich ... Daddy were arguing about it earlier " She said looking up at me with her bright green eyes . "Oh" was all I said . "Wanna come over to my house while your mummy and Aunty jess work this out ?" I asked Lily . "Ok" she said giving a toothy grin. "I have to get changed first " Lily said hoping out of her bed ."can you help me pick an outfit ?" She asked . "Yeah sure" I said walking over to her wardrobe. i picked out a mint green dress and a brown belt then I pulled out a pair of brown slip ons and handed her the outfit ."here you put this on and I'll go talk to mummy ok ?" I said walking out of her room and closing the door .
Melody's POV
"here you put this on and I'll go talk to mummy ok ?" I heard luke say . I quickly and quietly tip toed towards the kitchen so that he wouldn't know I was there . After a couple of seconds luke came into the kitchen and sat at one of the barstools. "I know you were ease dropping "luke said looking at me . "W-what how ?" I asked surprised. "Oh I didn't actually know but I do now . So if you were ease dropping then you'll already know I'm talking her over to my house until you are feeling better " he said .that little shit he played me . "Yeah ok but have her back by 5pm at the latest " I said giving him a serious look . "Ok well we'll head over when she's ready " he said continuing to wait for lily .
