Chapter 14

Melody's POV
"Lily wakey wakey " I said attempting to wake up my daughter . But of course she takes after me and is a heavy sleeper. "Lily honey wake up !" I said a bit louder . But I could tell she heard me because she was starting to stir . "Morning mummy" I heard her mumble as she sat up."morning pumpkin! Ok so mummy has to go to work so you get to spend the day at aunt jess's house with your cousins " I said with a convincing smile . "Ok mummy " she said returning my smile . I then picked her an outfit and bathed her . Once she was ready I sat her on the couch and put on the loony tunes before going and getting myself dressed and ready .once I was ready I helped Lily off the couch and turned the tv off . Then headed out the door to my car . As I was buckling lily into her car seat I felt someone tap me on the shoulder . When I turned around I saw luke . "Hello Lucus !" I said in a cheery tone . "Hello mel and lily !" Luke said in an equally cheery tone . "Hi uncwle luke" I Lily said waving at luke . "Where Ya going ?" Luke asked . "I'm going to go see if jess will look after lily for the day" i said looking back at my daughter . "How about I just look after her ? It would save you the trip ! Plus I don't mind looking after My god daughter !" Luke said "really you wouldn't mind ?" I said still unsure . "Nope not at all!" Luke said . "Do you wanna stay with uncle lukey lily ?" I asked her . "Yes !" She said with excitement. "Ok then it's settled! Here is my spare house key just in case she wants anything from the house and I'll be back to pick her up around 4pm!" I said handing luke the spare key . I then quickly unbuckled lily. "Bye cupcake !" I said blowing lily a kiss . "Bye bye mummy!" lily said attempting to blow me a kiss .
Luke's POV
Once mel drove off I picked up Lily who was standing next to me and carried her over to my (well mine and the boys ) house across the street . Once we were inside I went and turned on the tv and sat on the couch with lily on my lap . "What do you wanna watch ?" I asked lily as I flicked through the channels. "Can we watch adventure time ?" She asked pointing to Cartoon Network. "Yeah sure anything for you princess " I said clicking on adventure time. After about 30 minutes of adventure time lily fell asleep . I carefully moved her off my lap and layed her onto the couch and put a blanket over her before wandering off into the kitchen . While I was pouring myself a glass of orange juice I heard Michael scream . Fearing for the worst I ran towards the sound .when I got there I saw Michael staring at Lily as if he'd seen a ghost . "Michael what's wrong ?" I asked curious as to why he screamed . "Why is melody's daughter here ?" Michael asked generally shocked. "im babysitting her " I said like it was no big deal because it wasn't . "Your what? why?" Michael said . It kind of seemed as if he was angry with me but why would he be angry with me ?
