Melody's POV
"Jess I don't know what to say to her . She already knows he's her father but how do I tell her why I kept it from her ?"
"I don't know all I'm going to say it I told you that you should of told him when you found out "
"I know I know but it's too late for that now "
"Are you sure she doesn't already know why ?"
"No .. Actually I'll go ask her hold on "
I walked into Lily's room where she was playing with her toys . "Hey lily can I talk to you for a sec ?" I asked with my hand covering the speaker of the phone in my hand . "Yes mum ?" Lily asked In Reply . "Baby do you know why I didn't tell you Mikey was daddy ?" I asked not really sure how to word that . "Yes " was all she said looking back at me so that I could talk . "Can you tell me why ?" I asked hoping to get a little bit more information out of her . "Yes , because of his .. Caweer" she said before going back to playing with her toys . "Thanks baby girls" I said walking over to her and kissing her on the forehead. "Your welcome mummy " she said with a giggle . I walked back out to the kitchen before continuing my phone conversation.
"Never mind she already knows. Why didn't I think to ask her if she knows ugh I just spent the last 5 hours stressing over nothing ."
"Well she is a smart kid I don't see how you didn't think to ask her "
"yeah ... I don't know"
"Well I gotta go Olivia has a play date so I have to get her ready for that but I'll talk to you later k ?"
"Yeah ok bye "
"Bye"
I hung up the phone and put it back into its holder. I walked over to the breakfast bar and took a seat . I put my head in my hands and let out a sigh.within seconds after I let out a sigh lily was next to me . "Mummy are you Otay ?" She asked worried ."yeah mummies fine " I said with a fake smile. "Otay ... Mummy can we go out today ?" Lily asked . "Sure cupcake where do you wanna go ?" I asked her . "Umm ... We go to the diner ?" Lily asked "sure ... C'mon lets go get you ready then" I said hoping off the chair I was on and picking lily up . I carried her to her room and set her down on her bed. i walked over to her wardrobe and picked out a pair of blue and light pink floral leggings and a light pink shirt to match. I picked her up and carried her to the bath room so that I could give her a bath . "One more question mummy can daddy come too ?" Lily asked as I set her down in the bathroom. "I-I'm not sure if he can baby ... But I'll ask " I said with a smile .which made an even bigger smile appear on Lily's lips . "Yay" lily shouted . "But first you need to have your bath " I said which made lily let out a sigh . "Otay mummy I have bath now" Lily said a bit overly excited to go to the diner with me and Mikey.
