Chapter 8

Melody's POV
"What do you mean us ?!" I heard luke say . "Shit" I mumbled to myself. "Umm well you see I'm kinda pregnant" I said getting quieter with every word I spoke . But luke still heard me . "wait what ? So you left Michael so that you could go get knocked up by some other dude ?!" Luke yelled . My eyes started to water . "No luke you don't understand !" I said hoping he would listen to me . "Ok fine what don't I understand enlighten me mel . What could I possibly not be getting ?!" He said in a harsh tone ." First of all before you start yelling at me and calling me a slut it's Michaels baby and two I ran away so that he can keep living his dream with out having to worry about me or lily !" I shouted back at him before I started to cry . I then ran to my room and closed the door . I stood against the door then slid down it leaving me sitting behind the door . i heard I knock on the door . "Luke go away I don't wanna talk to you" I said as i cryed more . "Mel look I'm sorry ! It's just that Michael is like my brother and to see him the way he was when you left . Not the best feeling ever " he said knocking on the door again . "Please open the door so we can talk face to face " Luke said . After a couple seconds of thought I opened the door so that me and Luke could talk . "Mel I'm sorry I do respect your decision but I also think Michael has a right to know about the baby " luke said looking me directly in the eye. "I know it's just I'm not sure either of us are ready " I said looking towards the floor . "Yeah well it's your call " Luke said giving me a hug . "Guys dinners ready" we heard jess shout from the kitchen. "Coming!" We shouted back in reply. "Oh um luke can you promise me something ?" I asked luke . "Yeah sure anything" he said with a smile . "Well you have to promise that you won't tell Michael" I said looking up at him . " Ok I promise that I won't tell him" Luke said before we headed over to the kitchen table for dinner .
