Chapter 5 : Everything.

    I lost.

    I lost my most important competition.

    I've lost my chance at nationals.

    I lost Sunghoon.

    "It's okay y/n." Sunghoon told me, repeatedly. "There's always next season, it's okay." But there won't be a 'next season'. Sunghoon is leaving me. For good.

    "Everything will be okay."

There they were again. Those words that I hated the most. They were all just lies.

    I heard my coach yelling at me, I heard my friends telling me to stop crying, and I heard him.

    "Y/n, don't cry." Heeseung spoke softly, yet somehow, I heard him the most out of everyone around me.

"Just open your eyes." He told me. I looked up and suddenly, all I saw was him.

"All you have to do is wake up."

Huh?

"Wake up, y/n." He talked louder.

"Wake up!"

    My eyes suddenly opened. Was I dreaming? I sat up immediately and looked around and saw Heeseung standing beside me.

    "Come one, get up. You don't want to miss your important day." He said with a smile. "I have breakfast on the counter, so hurry up and get ready before it gets cold." He said as he left my room.

    I was only dreaming, thank god. I laid back down on my pillow and thought about my nightmare as I rubbed my eyes awake. I had stayed at practice last night until 12 in the morning trying to perfect my routine. Sunghoon had left around 9 and insisted on taking me home, but I refused.

    I refuse to let my nightmare come true.

    I arrived at the skating rink around 8AM and opened the doors to feel the cold air hit my face. I walked over to sign in with my coach.

"Hey y/n, you ready to win this thing?" I turned to see Sunghoon all smiley. I nodded with a smile and walked with him over to our bench to stretch with the rest of our team. Even though Sunghoon is a year older than me, I see him as one of my bestest friends. I usually put my feelings and emotions into my skating, and he's always there for me. It made me think about my nightmare of how he's leaving me for college.

"What time did you get home last night?" He asked me.

"Like an hour after you left." I lied. I didn't want him to know that I'm pretty much running on whatever kind of coffee Heeseung gave me this morning.

"Don't worry, y/n. We are going to do amazing out there." He reassured. I guess he noticed the nervous look on my face.

"I never get nervous, I don't know why I'm like this." I laughed to him.

"Go get some water and meet back here in 5?" I nodded and left to the locker area for my water.

    I opened my locker to grab my water thinking if Jungwon was going to show up.

"Y/n!" I turned expecting him but instead I saw three other figured walking towards me.

"Oh hey guys!" I said.

"Sorry we're late, Sunoo wouldn't get up this morning." Niki apologized.

"Yah, you were the one who made me stay up playing video games last night!" I almost forgot they shared a dorm.
