I stared out the window. Most of the students decided to stay at the dorms over the summer since most of their families came to visit them. The trees and grass blew with the breeze under the bright sun. Couples hand in hand as they walk down the street. There were no clouds in sight. It was the first week of summer, which means its been a week since Sunghoon said goodbye to me. I looked back at my desk. It was a vase full of his flowers, dried and wilted. They had no color left, but neither did I.
"Sunoo invited us out for coffee, wanna go?" Heeseung said as he came into my room.
"Maybe next time." I said, still looking out the window.
"Come on, y/n. You've been saying that for the whole week. It's beautiful out today. I'm starting to get really worried."
"I know, I'm sorry. I just..." I finally look at him as he comes to sit beside me on the bed. "I just need more time."
"More time to mope around? I can't stand to see you here sad all alone." He finally stands up and walks over to my closet. He starts looking through my clothes.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"I am finding your prettiest summer dress because we are going to join Sunoo for coffee and enjoy the sunshine."
"Are you serious right now?"
He pulled a light blue dress and held it against my body. "Yes. I don't want you to be sad all summer. I just want you to be happy." He handed me the dress and kissed my forehead.

"Y/n! You came!" Sunoo said.
We all stood outside of the cafe. It was super busy inside.
"Yeah, I'm sorry i kept rejecting your invites to hangout." I said.
"It's okay. All that matters is you're here now." He smiled.
"Hey guys!" I turned around to see Jungwon, Jay, and Niki.
"What are you guys doing here?" I smiled and hugged them.
"Well Sunoo said you were finally leaving your room so we couldn't miss seeing you." Niki said.
"Oh, how sweet of you." I teased Niki.
We went inside and got a table. We sat and talked for what seemed like hours. It felt as if I hadn't seen them in years. The past year was definitely for the books. Even after going through everything, my best friends were still by my side.
Soon after, we parted ways. Heeseung and I walked over to the riverside just in time for the sunset.
"How pretty." I said, looking across the water.
"Just like you." Heeseung said.
I pushed his arm. "You're so cheesy sometimes."
He turned and faced me. "Y/n, I know this year was super tough on you, but i want you to know that I'll always be there for you. I want you to be happy."
"I can't believe I found someone like you." I said to him.
He leaned down and gave me a soft kiss. "I love you, y/n."
"I love you, too." I smiled.
"Even though I had a rough year of relationships, I had finally found someone who wants me they way I want you."
