Shawn's mouth trembled. He was beginning to speak.
You couldn't let him take blame.
"Shawn"... He turned his head to you in response.
"Please.. Not now".
He bit his lip and looked to ground...
It looked like his whole world shattered.

Karen's eyes were focused on the road, and only the road.
She didn't pay any attention to either you or Shawn.
Just the road.
You blamed yourself.
You just completely ruined the dinner, for not only her.. But everyone.
This situation was a roller coaster.

You reached the restaurant within an 10 minute car drive.
Shawn and you were both quiet and nervous.
You just only prayed that his mom wouldn't bring it up...
"Y/N....."
Karen called your name.
You got out of the car, and walked towards the driver side.
"Yep?"
Her eyes were watery.
"I just wanted to let you know.... I still love you."
Her words made your heart pound.
She smiled and reached for your hand, holding it.
Shawn watched you from the corner, with his head down low.
"Come." You walked with Karen.

You got to the door, where you met Aaliyah.
She had been waiting there for you three to arrive.
She hugged you and talked to her, while approaching your table.
"Shawn".
Manuel called for his son, as muffin boy walked to him.
He hugged his dad, as you stood with Karen.
"And Y/N, how are you?"
You nodded and told him "well".
"That's good to hear".
You smiled and sat beside Aaliyah and Shawn, not thinking too much about the baby.

"When is Nana coming?"
Shawn asked his dad.
"Your mom is picking her up. That's why she left".
You gulped.
What would Shawn's grandmother think.... You has a gut feeling that it would be like a "disappointment to the family."
You needed to tell someone.. speak to someone.
You told Karen... but she didn't say much about it.
Chatting with her was what you needed...But she wasn't there.
You turned to Aaliyah, asking her to come with you to the washroom.
She nodded.
You both walked.

You reached the washroom while Aaliyah closed the door behind you.
"Yes?"
This was the moment..... Everything would go down.
"I need your help".
Your hand itched.
Aaliyah's face was confused. She walked closer to you
"Y/N... It's fine. Just relax".
You stopped and looked at her.
"It's fine?"
She nodded at your sentence.
"Shawn.... He explained it. I know your situation...."

"You're pregnant right?"

Your nerves shattered.
