𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐀 𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄, Lorelei twirled as she walked along it, happy giggles leaving her lips as she kicked her feet and skipped along the bridge.

The girl enjoying the nice nature-filled scenery, not realizing a certain prince was slowly following behind her with a dopey amazed smile on his face.

He had seen the girl small maybe a hand full of times, but now she was just an amazing sight to see, Lorelei entranced Ben in the most intricate of ways.

"So I'm guessing you're enjoying our nature walk." Ben spoke sarcastically as he watched her finally turn back towards him, the girl walking backward on the bridge.

Although hearing his words, Lorelei only giggled more at this moment was probably the happiest she'd been in years, two out of three of her soulmates were here.

And they wanted her.

"Yes," Lorelei giggled nodding her head as she stopped walking, waiting for the boy to come closer to her as she stood in the middle of the bridge. "thank you for bringing me here."

Seeing the innocence and happiness portrayed so brightly in his soulmate's eyes, even behind the love spell, Ben couldn't help but smile as he stepping front of her.

"No worries, I'm happy you like it," Ben said seriously as he finally made it to her before the girl moved aside so they could walk side by side. "tell me something about yourself, something you've never told anyone...tell me a secret."

"Hmm that's a tough one," Lorelei said pausing for a second, she hadn't expected him to ask her so person, but it wasn't long before she thought of something. "okay, back on the isle, every other night at midnight I would go to the highest abandoned mansion on the a few blocks away from my mom's place."

Lorelei paused as a soft smile came over her face as she remembered all the nights she'd snuck out of her bedroom window without anyone knowing or finding out.

"And because of how powerful I am, I've always been able to use a little bit of Asgardian Magic since it's not of Earth, itself," Lorelei spoke filling the prince in on the magical side of her powers, something that had baffled those on the isle at first. "and I would shoot the brightest, quietest fireworks in the sky."

Lorelei paused again as she raised her hand across the sky in front of them, the two finally stepping off of the bridge, Ben's eyes had never left Lorelei as she spilled a deep secret.

Although as he heard details his own eyes began to widen, he'd seen those fireworks, for years he'd watched them in wonder of what was truly going on, on the isle.

"They would rain down over the sky like glitter and falling stars," Lorelei continued to speak the sentimental smile still on her face, although she still hadn't noticed the look on Ben's face. "and I would lay on the top of the roof for hours, just sending them up and watching them fall right back down to me."

With that Lorelei finished her story before turning towards Ben, who'd already turned towards her, the picnic basket he had been holding having now moved to rest at his side.

An amazed and shocked look on his face as his empty hand came up and lightly grasped Lorelei's face, the girl was confused she didn't understand why he was looking at her like that.

So passionately.

"When I was thirteen I'd stayed up contemplating my life, I'd just been given my first fitting for my official crown as the prince to the people," Ben started to explain softly as he looked the girl in her eyes, the two completely focused on each other. "I saw your fireworks, every other night I'd wait and watch for them to burst into the sky."

Ben's eyes traced every part of the girl's face, from her eyes to her freckles he looked at every last little part of her face in hopes of eternally committing it to his memory.

Although the effects of the love spell were just enhancing the love he had already begun feeling for Lorelei, it intensified the love he was feeling for her truly from his heart.

"They came from Isle, but from what I could gathered it was never a celebration," He continued to explain to the girl as they stood close to each other, the two mere inches from kissing each other. "so I wondered, I wondered and I wondered, who was capable of those extraordinary fireworks every other night."

Lorelei wanted nothing but for the boy to kiss her right now, but as she listened to his words she couldn't help but remember the spell she'd put him under.

He didn't feel this way about her.

"If only I'd known." Ben finished off his words in a whisper as he began leaning in closer to her, the two gravitating closer to each other.

Feeling him leaning in and feeling herself do the same, Lorelei for the first time in all her years of being alive felt an emotion she hated, she felt guilty.

"Ben, I-" Lorelei spoke she was going to tell him about the spell, she was going to make sure he tucked tail and rain, but she couldn't, she couldn't run her soulmate away. "never mind."

With that and a soft push to his chest, Ben backed down realizing the girl didn't want to kiss him as of right now, however, he didn't feel rejected by her not wanting to kiss him.

He only backed away slightly taking a step back towards where they were headed, although he turned back and held his hand out for her to hold his hand.

"Come on we're almost there." He spoke gently causing Lorelei to give him a soft smile before she placed her hand in his own, the boy once again leading her to where they were going to have a picnic.

"I'm sorry, it's just-" Lorelei tried to explain why she'd rejected his advances, but she was only interrupted by Ben who glanced down at her again.

"Don't worry about it," Ben waved off the entire situation with a small chuckle, the moment he'd asked her on this date he knew he wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of his life with Lorelei. "we barely know each other other than our little secret spill, we've got just about forever to have our first kiss."
