Shouto thought he learned everything about Katsuki over the course of their friendship. But in the two and a half months since they started dating, Shouto accumulated a little list of all the things he never knew about Katsuki.

First, Katsuki's love for physical affection. This wasn't too surprising since he and Shouto were touchy with each other before they became a couple, but he dialed it up to the thousandth degree once they were official. When they were alone, Katsuki seemingly kept a hand on Shouto at all times, whether it be his hip or his shoulder or his lower back. During sleepovers, Katsuki woke Shouto up in the middle of the night for a quick kiss before settling back into a comfortable snuggle. And, because he was a cheeky teenaged boy, he occasionally grabbed Shouto's butt. Shouto secretly loved it but was too shy to say it out loud. So, he always giggled and slapped Katsuki's hand away.

Second, pet names. Katsuki loved giving them. He still called Shouto Halfie every now and then, especially in front of others, but that nickname took a backseat to three new contenders. Shouto learned that each pet name Katsuki picked out were for specific situations. Baby, for everyday conversation. Angel, when he felt like being romantic. And squishy, for when Shouto and his pudgy cheeks were too much for Katsuki's sanity.

Third, neediness. Katsuki was a brat, plain and simple. For how often he liked to slip into the protective role, he easily switched to wanting to be pampered. Shouto complied as it was humorous and adorable when Katsuki asked to be little spoon, but often succumbed to his limitations.

"Why'd you stop?"

Katsuki's face was shielded from this angle, but Shouto was certain he was pouting. They were in Katsuki's bed, both shirtless, Katsuki's cheek pressed into Shouto's chest. Shouto just finished combing his fingers through Katsuki's scalp, his arm now lying limply around Katsuki's waist.

He gave a small smile. "My hand hurts."

"Boo," Katsuki said.

Shouto snorted. "We should probably get up anyway before your parents get suspicious."

Katsuki slowly looked up at Shouto. His bedhead pulled at Shouto's heartstrings as much as the little scowl he sported. "I hate that you're right."

Reluctantly, he climbed off of Shouto, then the boys fetched their clothes. As soon as they separated, traces of December lingered around Shouto. He never would forgo a shirt during the onset of winter, but Katsuki's body pressed against his while they slept was warmer than any blanket.

Shouto kept his eyes on Katsuki as they got dressed. While there were many things he learned about Katsuki since they started dating, Shouto also learned a few things about himself.

The main one being how much he loved Katsuki's body.

He couldn't believe he never noticed before. Katsuki's broad shoulders, his defined waist, his perfectly sculpted muscles. Prominent collarbones, large hands, and biceps that Shouto always wanted to hug. Shouto's boyfriend was hot, far hotter than he believed he deserved. And, well, he could only hide his desires for so long.

They hadn't crossed that boundary yet. Katsuki never brought it up. Shouto reckoned it was for his sake, since Katsuki's attraction to Shouto was more than obvious, especially when they made out for a bit too long. But as their relationship unraveled and the more comfortable Shouto felt having a boyfriend, his curiosity grew.

Shouto thought about it. He thought about it a lot. Last year, he was ashamed he chickened out on losing his virginity to Hitoshi. Now he wanted to give his past self a pat on the back. He didn't regret his brief relationship with Hitoshi, but the feelings he shared back then didn't even come close to how he felt about Katsuki. There was an unparalleled connection between them, giving Shouto excitement and tranquility at the same time. He was only sixteen, but he knew what was building between them was rare. If he was going to take that step with anyone, it should be Katsuki.
