I think that's all?

Wilbur's POV
couple days later

We left today, and are currently about a mile out from where Fundy supposedly is. My anxiety was through the roof, and I just wanted to run there and scoop up my little boy and take him home and hug him and never let him go.

I was supposed to be coming here alone, but of course, the others came too. I hoped Schlatt wouldn't know, because this was really putting Fundy's life on the line.

I was going to arrive by myself, and heroes and Techno were posing as civilians in nearby stores. I had what they called a panic button, and if I press it, they'll be there in just a few seconds. Press it once for immediate help, and twice for them to come secretly and watch from afar, just incase.

We camped out in an abandoned building for the night. I laid flat on the concrete floor, staring at the stars through a hole in the ceiling. I wore my father trench coat, and my mums necklace. I fiddled with the necklace as I drifted to sleep.

When I opened my eyes, the sun was out, but it seemed late.

"Rise and shine!" Techno's voice called. "Thought you'd never wake up." He laughed. "How long do I have before I go?" I asked, rubbing my eyes. "About three hours. He said before sunset, so I suggest we head that way in two." I nodded, exhaling.

"And we brought the money, right?" I asked. Phil tossed me a sack full of bills, American bills. I just hoped that it was the right amount, since I have no clue how American money works.

I had Fundy's stuffed fox with me. It was his comfort toy, and I assumed he'd like to hold it while I hold him.

Those two hours went by fast, and the lot of us began our short journey. The rest of them went into nearby shops, and the location Schlatt gave me was a pub. A shut down one. The windows were boarded, but the door was accessible.

I pushed the door open, looking around the dim room, small amounts of sun peaking through the boards. I spotted paper on the bar. I went over, grabbing the paper.

"Congratulations, you made it! My cameras are watching you right now, so I know if you're alone or not. Let's hope you are, or there will be a bullet in your sons head before you even finish this sentence. Though, I trust that you are alone.
Now, directions from your son:
Ƴσʋ ɦαⱱҽ ƭσ ƈσɱҽ ƒιղԃ ɱҽ, ραρα, ƭɦαƭʂ wɦαƭ ƭɦҽ ɾαɱ ɱαղ ʂαιԃ.

Translation for people who have trouble reading in fonts:
(You have to come find me, papa, that's what the ram man said.
I don't think I'm hidden all that well but I don't know
Please find me I'm scared I wanna go home)

The last bit was scribbled out in Fundy's writing with a blue crayon. I folded the paper, putting it into my pocket. I adjusted the bag of money over my shoulder.

My, or my father's, trench coat had a fully loaded pistol, plus ammo, on the inside pocket, along with Fundy's stuffy, and I held the tomahawk in my right hand tightly.

I walked through the abandoned pub, being careful of my every surrounding. I walked into a backroom, spotting a slightly different shaded piece of the black on the checkerboard floor. I walked over, looking at it.

There's no way it's that easy.

Nothing is ever that easy.

I stepped on the tile and it pressed down into the floor with a click, and a nearby door opened. I walked to the door, stepping through into a large room that looked like warehouse next door. The warehouse was empty, and all windows and doors were blocked off with cement. So it was basically a large concrete block.
