The people of the Metkayina gasped and begin to run to the shore as the horn blew, each members of the Sully family looking up at each other with confused faces until they heard someone yell. "She's back! Tatianayi has returned!"
That was all that was needed as Neteyam was the first to run out of the mauri, followed by his mother and father. It had been 5 days since she left without a trace, and now she had returned.
They made it to the landing area where they had a week ago and saw Taysein up in the air, quickly diving down as he crashed against the sand which made them all gasp and stand back, afraid to go near the deadly creature.
Neytiri ran forwards first, crouching down to Taysein and making sure he was okay as her son and mate ran around him, trying to find the girl.
Taysein slowly opened his wing and showed the unconscious girl in his hold and whined, resting his head on Neytiri's lap. The girl had cuts and wounds over her skin, a large gash in her side and her face was badly cut.
"Get Ronal!" Jake yelled to some of the warriors who ran to find the Tsahik. "What happened to her?" Neteyam asked, lifting the girls head and placing it in his lap and feeling for a pulse which was weak.
His father sighed, looking up at Neytiri who already had an idea.
"Sky people."
Tonowari, Ronal, Jake and Neytiri stood round the girl as Ronal performed a ritual and Neytiri made an ointment. Neteyam and the other warriors stood outside of the Chiefs mauri with their spears, preventing anyone from coming in except that didn't stop his siblings from sitting outside and waiting.
"How do you think it happened?" Tonowari questioned Jake who shrugged. "She looked like she put up a fight, she must have been alone against a large group." "A squad?" Jake shrugged again with a sigh, resting down beside the girl who still layed unconscious. "Who knows."
Ronal pulled back from her ritual, grabbing some of the paste from Neytiri as she spread it across the girls hip.
It seemed like they stayed there for hours, their questions still unsolved and people still in shock from the entrance Taysein had to make.
