Tatia walked silently behind Jake, Neteyam and Lo'ak as Jake dragged the two by their arms to their marui. Eventually they made it after a long walk of Jake muttering angry words at his sons and pushed them inside, Tatia staying by the entrance as she watched the scene.
"What was the one thing I asked? The one thing!" He yelled in a hushed voice to not attract any unwanted attention. "Stay out of trouble." The two boys spoke before Neteyam rolled his eyes, standing in front of Lo'ak with his hands out. "It was my fault, Sir, I take full responsibility."
Tatia tilted her head with a confused look, knowing it was Lo'aks fault. "I don't think so, you've gotta stop taking the heat for this knucklehead." Jake spoke angrily, aiming his words at his youngest son. "Dad, Ao'nung was picking on Kiri, he called her and Tatiana a freak."
Jake sighed at his words, looking back at Tatia as she nodded, confirming the statement. "I will speak to Tonowari. But Lo'ak, you can't be sticking up for me like that against Ao'nung. I can take care of myself." The boy nodded at her scolding, understanding.
"Look, go apologise to Ao'nung-" Lo'ak scoffed at his dad's words, Neteyam huffing angrily at his brother as the most unwanted thing he wanted to do was to apologise to the asshole his soon to be hopefully girlfriend or mate's, promised mate. "He is the chief's son. Do you understand?" Jake questioned, standing up straight and moving aside to show the exit. "I don't care how you do it just go and make peace."
Lo'ak had his head down as he walked out, but was quickly stopped by Tatia who grabbed the boys arm. "Let me speak to you quickly, wait by the rocks." The boy nodded before leaving.
Neteyam was soon to follow his brother, although his father had stopped him this time. "Hey, hey, wait." The two young adults waited for his words as they stood together. "So, uh. What did the other kids look like?" Tatia scoffed in disbelief at his words except Neteyam, who laughed. "Worse."
Jake nodded, a proud smirk on his face. "Good." "A lot worse." "Get out of here." He spoke as Neteyam went to brag but turned to the girl next to him. "Could have been worse you you didn't stop us."
