"Thought I'd find you here." Neteyam spoke, coming to the first place they officially met on the trees in the forest. Tatia softly smiled, twisting round to to look at the beaten warrior. "Why? Looking for me?"
Neteyam hummed, walking forwards to sit next to her and dangle his legs off the branch as he looked forward to the ocean. "How do you do it, Neteyam?" Tatia sighed, causing the man to look down at her confused. "How can you stay here, acting like you don't miss the forest. You were there for your entire life and been here for two weeks. I was there for 4 years and been here for 13 years but..."
The warrior looked at the girl, her head down and hair falling in front of her face, blocking his view. Hesitating, he reached her arm forward to gently tuck the piece of hair behind her ear, his fingers moving down to turn her jaw towards him so he could look into her eyes, something he would never get enough of.
"Because I've had you."
Tatia smiled, leaning into the hand that was now placed on the side of her face. "I don't know how to explain it... but... everything feels complete when you're here, Teyam." She sighed, looking away from him and down at the bow that rested in her lap, her quiver next to her holding a few arrows.
Neteyam blushed at the nickname, but quickly composing himself and putting his hand over hers, Tatia's heart beat increasing as she looked back up at the boy. "Everything feels complete when you're here too, Tatia."
At his words, the girl began to smile like a little girl again, hiding her face from him which made him smile and laugh.
"You really don't understand the hold you have me in, Tatia. I'd do anything you ask me to." Neteyam spoke in a quite whisper, wrapping his fingers around hers. She looked back up at him with wide doe eyes, her eyes glowing a ice blue and a emerald green as did his.
"Then teach me, Teyam, teach me the way of the forest, please?"
His pearl white fangs showed as he smiled, standing up and holding his hand out for her to take, which she did and he pulled her up. "I'll teach you everything." He spoke, reaching down to get her quiver for her and place his own bow over his shoulders as did she.
"Let's go, Ma'Princess." Neteyam held out his hand again to which Tatia gladly took, blushing as he pulled her along and into the forest.
"Like this." Neteyam demonstrated with his bow, getting into the correct position which highlighted his muscles in his arms, back and abs. Tatia tried to hide the fact she was checking him out as she looked him up and down, her eyes landing on his arms and stomach. "Like what you see princess?" Neteyam smirked, noticing where her eyes actually were.
