It was now night and the stars scattered the sky making the two look up at them as they laid on the boat to rest for a minute. Neteyam turned his head to look at Tatia who laid beside him, the moonlight shining on her face as she breathed softly.

Neteyam knew he had fallen deeply in love with her and quickly too.

He loved everything about her. The way her nose had a dip rather than be straight and flat like the forest people. Her dimples that he would only get to see when she smiled, her beach wave hair that swayed around her hips, her eyes that would glow and radiate. The way she was so brave and confident in everything she did. He loved everything.

And she did too. Tatia also looked towards him and locked their eyes. His deep emerald green eyes burned into her pale green and emerald green eyes.

She loved everything about him. The way his striped decorated his body so perfectly and the scars that scattered his body, his hair and strong face features, the tattoo that now was inked onto his shoulder and upper arm. His smile and laugh and the way his skin glowed a deep blue-purple.

Turning over, Tatia rolled onto him, holding herself up on her forearm as her left hand came to stoke his face and the glowing freckles that she had memorized. "I want it to be like this forever." She admitted, her thumb trailing under his eye as he smiled softly.

"Nobody to ever bother us." He agreed, bringing his hand up to cup her face. "Nobody to stop or tear us apart." His voice was a hushed whisper as was hers, even though all they could see what the ocean. "What if we just left? We could go to the forest." Neteyam inquired making the girl smile and push her face into his hand further, enjoying the warmth he provided.

"You could be mine, I'll make you mine." He spoke with a small smirk, lifting his head to press a delicate kiss on her cheek. Tatia blushed at the idea of what he would do to her if she let him. "As much as I love that idea," Tatia sighed, "I have to stay here, these are my people, Teyam."
