"Grandmother!" Kiri and Tuk yelled as she climbed off the back of Tarsem's Ikran, holding her arms out for her grandchildren. "My darlings!" Mo'at smiled, hugging the 3 children and kissing each of her heads before welcoming Neytiri into her arms as well, hugging her tightly before opening her arms for Jake as well. "JakeSully!"
Jake giggled as he hugged the elder woman back, not being able to contain his laughter every time she mispronounced his human name.
"You're alive." Tarsem cried into Tatia's shoulder as they knelt on the floor. "I thought you were dead. They said you were dead. I thought-" "I'm here." Tatia cried, holding tightly onto him. "I am here." "How- How did you survive that journey?" Tarsem questioned, pulling back to hold her face. "It was a storm unlike no other. Whoever was out that day died."
"Not me." Tatia shook her head. "It takes more than that to kill me."
The two stood up to see the rest of the village and Omatikaya people look at the questionably, until Mo'at gasped, pulling away from her family and look towards the teenage girl who kept her head to the floor.
Slowly, Mo'at approached Tatia, Neteyam coming to stand behind his mate and hold onto her hand. "Is... is it really you... Tatianayi?" Nervously, Tatia rose her head, her eyes making her known to the Omatikaya around them. It was really her. "You're alive!"
Mo'at brought the girl in for a hug, stroking her hair. "I prayed to the great mother that day. And she answered..." The elder woman looked towards her grandson who held tightly onto each others hands. "You two..." "Before Eywa, grandmother. It is done." Neteyam answered with a smile.
She smiled proudly, nodding her head before looking down at the teenage girl. "You are a chief now?" Tatia nodded. "I am the Olo'eyktan of Montinui of the Metkayina tribes and I am the first Telua Embakun of Pandora, rider of the first light."
Telua came out from the water, the people flinching away as the creature crawled up onto land, but neither Tatia or Neteyam flinched. "Eywa's greatest warrior... Telua saved you that day. The great mother chose you to lead us. When it is time, you will lead my clan as well as the only heir of Tarsem."
Tatia bowed, kneeling on the floor as she performed the 'I see you' sign, but she was stopped when Mo'at grabbed her wrist, pulling her back up. "You, child. Shall not bow to nobody. You are Telua Embakun. You only rise, not fall."
A smile appeared on her face as she nodded, still performing a small bow though out of respect.
A cough was heard from behind them and crowded around Neteyam and Tatia were the warriors of the Metkayina, W'Kabi standing in front.
