It's been a lot these past day.
Im getting kinda hungry. But do I get food for myself or all of them? Do I buy food and make some or get takeout?
I think for a while and decided I want chicken breast with broccoli and salad. That sounds so delicious right now.
I walk down stairs to see them on their phone on the couch. I see Karl in Alex's arms cuddling .
"Hey" I say getting their attention.
"Oh hey" Alex quickly gets out of Karl's arms "gotta cuddle with the homies yk" he says laughing nervously.
"Umm ok...." I say acting confused "anyways there's a target a little bit away and I was going to go get groceries to cook. Anyone wanna come?" I offer
"Ummm" they all say not really wanting to go
"It's ok. I can go by myself" I add
As I opened the door clay speaks up "don't you need keys?" He questions me
"No I was planning on waking there. I need to be more active" I explain
They all look at each other
"At night?" Sapnap asks
"Yeah"
"All alone?" He adds
"Yup"
"No" he looks at me
"What?" I look at him with a confused expression
"Walking all alone at night, that's dangerous. I'm coming with you" he tells me
"Are you sure?" I remember his face when I said I was leaving
"Obviously. I'm not letting you get hurt. Or worse. I care about you too much" he said while putting on his shoes
"You barely know me. How could you care about me that much?" I ask him
"Would you do anything to protect me?" He questions me
"Yes." I say
"So you care about me that much you wouldn't let me get hurt." He says like it's so obvious
"I- ok then" I accept how he's right
We both leave the house. And start walking
It was about a 20 minute walk.
Not too bad.
"Are Alex and Karl dating?" I ask him
His face turns red.
Nick POV
"What" I say
Oh no. This could end bad. Should I tell her about us or just them. Fuck I don't know
"Sapnap" she says with a concerned look
"Oh um yeah?"
"You were zoned out. Are you ok?" She asked
"Yeah"
"So are they dating?" She repeats
"No." I decided to lie
"Oh ok" she said
"So today was interesting wasn't it" I say
"Very interesting" she agrees
"How long have you been dating him?" I decided to ask
"Known for 5 years. Dating for 2 years" she answers
"Wait how old are you?" I ask genuinely not knowing
"19" she replied
"Thank god your not like 17 or something" she laughs "wait but you moved here? With him. Don't you have high school?" I ask
