Secrets could be usually shared between the two (you and your partner) but lately when there's a barrier between you and your partner sometimes it's best to keep it within them and maybe reflect it and keep it locked in the back of your mind. But occasionally you'll spill it eventually and it'll either be a breath or relief or maybe something so unbelievable that you hate that it's a secret you have.
Silver's POV
(Sunset, Near The Beach)
It's so nice, being back here and hearing the waves slide in through the sand and the wind flowing and lifting my quills. It was quite a steady and peaceful late afternoon. But the view was now shared with Espio. Oh Espio, as he looks as well out towards the view our hands, inches between us start to find a way to intertwine with one another. The silence was building up but it's killing me, having to hide like this. What if this is our life? Hiding and not being able to really let the world see us together
Espio: Sil, you're being all quiet again, is something wrong?
Silver: I'm just overthinking things again. About us and...i'm sorry i know it's all so dumb and-
Espio: hey, i'm thinking about it too and it's okay. We're gonna figure this soon, like i said we don't need to rush things if you're not ready
Silver: but you can't just hide this from the Chaotix Espio, you shouldn't take the fall with me it's not right
Espio: i'm not taking any fall i'm just helping you through this and waiting for whenever you're ready to take that jump

Then he rests his hands on my cheeks which automatically heat up then i hold him tight, shut my eyes and slowly kiss him. Overtime i feel okay, relaxed even then we both smile and seem to stop worrying about our crisis at the moment. Maybe we should go join the others now, they must be wanting to leave now.
Amy's POV
As we're waiting in the car for the others I suddenly see Blaze and Sonic walking back to us. Their faces suddenly appear to show a quick smile when they see us. As Ej and me go up to them we start to speak to them
Amy: Hey, where did you two run off to?
Blaze: we just went for a walk and had a nice chat along the way
Sonic: yeah (hand behind his back) nice chat
Then i see Sonic's eyes drawn to Ej then he starts to look back at me
