After all the distance and lingering pain, this is the point of returning together recollecting all the moments and memories that once brought joy to you and your significant other. With this, Sonic secretly hiding his lingering pain of missing his friend Amy is suddenly revealed once he is finally reunited with her. And Amy is finally able to spend some time with her friend while hoping she can still remain just a friend to him instead of lingering on that dream she secretly wants.
Sonic's POV
(Beach, Sunset)
As time stopped by and my mouth was completely wide open I was caught staring at Amy . Only she was smiling that sweet smile of hers and slowly walking by to me.
Sonic: Amy?
Amy: (smiles) Sonic
Then with no turning back or sudden movement from her I grab her and hug her. She finds herself glued to me as she then hugs me back. It brings back so many memories whenever we would hold each other like this...it all felt so nice and comforting knowing we'll find a way to run back to each other like this. Only this is real, and all I ever wanted. To see my friend again and finally have her with me. Nothing could change this

Amy: (letting go) so how's this for a surprise?
Sonic: (chuckles) you got me good Ames
Amy: (chuckles) it's really nice to see you again. I just have so many questions now and so much to tell you
Sonic: Tell me about it. I got so much to tell you too
Then I suddenly remembered about Tails and Knuckles! Shit, I'm supposed to see them now. But I can't just leave Amy and call this a goodnight. Perhaps it won't hurt if she tags along. I mean she might want to see them too right?
Sonic: uh Amy, i kind of have to go meet up with the guys but do you want to come?
Amy: Of course, it's not like I came here just to see you, Sonic. I miss Tails and Knuckles as well
Wow, it hurt a lot. But yeah I get it, this is not all about me. She came for all of us, it would make the most sense
Sonic: Alright then you're gonna keep joking around are we gonna leave?
