Jamie has always loved watching the sunset, especially from his roof. Well, so does Emmy. Despite being neighbors for a year, they have never spoken a word to each other, until tonight.
Jamie's POV
I love sunsets. They are so beautiful. Especially being close enough to see the ocean from mine and Trevor's roof. I made my way up to the roof, just enjoying the view. I say there, checking some stuff on my phone. I hear a door creak open, and look around for a second, not seeing anyone. Suddenly I hear Taylor swift playing. I try to find the sound, spotting someone climbing onto the roof of another house.
She has long, blonde hair that is in beach waves. I can tell she is wearing sweatpants and a hoodie. She notices me, and sets down her blanket and her speaker that is playing Taylor. " you watching the sunset too?" She asked, smiling kindly. " yea, kinda my nightly routine. I'm Jamie by the way. I responded shyly. " nice to meet you Jamie, I'm Emmy. Want to join me?" She responded sweetly. " I thought about it for a minute, before saying " sure, should I just go through the front door?" " yea, you go through the front door, up the stairs and out the balcony of the first room on the left." She stated, giving me instructions.
Emmy's POV
I just invited my neighbor Jamie? I think that's his name, up on the roof with me to watch the sunset. He eventually came onto the roof, walking over to me. He sat down, and we just enjoyed the peace for a little while, before talking about life a little. I found out he plays for the ducks, and has a roomie named Trevor who also loves Taylor Swift. I told him about how much I love the beach and how i like photography.
Without realizing it, we had both gotten closer to each other, us both now covered with the blanket. I shivered slightly, due to a slight breeze. Jamie noticed and put his arm around me, and I snuggled into him slightly. We were both blushing like crazy, watching the sunset. It was gorgeous. I pulled out my phone and took some pictures. In the background, you could see the beach aswell. It was one of my favorite sunsets I have ever seen.

We ended up completely snuggled into each other, stargazing after the sunset.
No one's POV
They felt as though they had known each other their whole lives. They were so comfortable in each others presence, they made it their nightly thing. Going out, watching the sunset, Trevor occasionally joining them as well. Sometimes they talked for hours, sometimes they just enjoyed each others presence.
