I don't have a lot of energy today to write the stuff so here's the new chapter! I hope y'all enjoy!

Warnings: Flirty crap, dorks, Remus, that's it.

Logan
I woke up first out of the group. As Roman would say, I am one of those odd early risers. That isn’t a lie, I suppose. My body naturally wakes up around six am. Since school is only an assembly today, I didn’t feel the need to pack my bag the night before. Instead, I grabbed two pens and slid them in my shirt pocket. After changing into my button up shirt, tie, and blue jeans, of course. I finished putting gel in my hair before going back to my room. Virgil and Roman were sleeping in a pile of blankets on the ground and I made sure to step over them carefully before sitting at my desk. I quietly turned on the lamp and opened the book I had been reading. The Cry of a Ghost. I don’t usually read stories on ghosts, but that seemed to be a topic that I should be more knowledgeable on at the moment. This is the second ghost book I have read. Granted, it is fiction. But if someone had experience with a ghost and wrote about it, other’s would certainly deem that as fiction as well.

I had gotten a few chapters in when an alarm caused me and everyone else in the room to jump. Virgil quickly turned it off and flushed. “Sorry, I forgot to turn it off.” I nodded and Roman let out a dramatic groan.

“Ughhh it’s too early! Turn off the lighttttt! Go back to bedddd!” Virgil rolled his eyes.

“It’s the last day of school.” I told him. Roman immediately perked up. I smirked, of course that would work.

“I call bathroom first!” He grabbed his bag and rushed off, leaving no time for Virgil to snatch it. Virgil squinted after the sleep deprived prince before looking towards me.

“When did you wake up?” I glanced at the clock.

“About 45 minutes ago.” He sat up and stretched. My cheeks darkened at his small yawn. He looks quite comfortable in the onesie. A part of me wishes to change back into mine and start a movie or maybe play Mario Kart again. When he beat Roman and I last night, his smirk was adorable and quite gratifying.

“You weren’t watching us, were you?” He playfully asked. I blinked.

“I erm, of course not.” My ears felt hot. What could have lead him to that conclusion? I mean, I wouldn’t just stare at the pair for 45 minutes, that’s stalkerish. I mean, I did glance a few times to make sure I didn’t wake them up, is that weird?

He laughed. “I’m kidding, I’m kidding.” He stood up and made his way over. Relief immediately filled me. “Whatcha reading?”

“I am reading The Cry of a Ghost.” I held the book out to him. He tilted his head, examining the bright red cover with a ghost shaped blob that was similar to a tear shape at the same time under the title.

“It doesn’t seem like the type of book you’d be interested in.”

“I’m not particularly, no. However, it gives a different insight on ghosts that we might need.” He nodded.

“Found anything so far?”

“Well it starts with the protagonist moving into a haunted house and meeting a depressed ghost. The protagonist is trying to get the ghost up and going and I have just gotten to the part about the ghost’s life as a human.” Virgil’s eyes widened.

“That’s it!”

“What is?”

“If we want to learn more about the ghost, we have to figure out who it was in life! The more tragic the past, the more likely it will be out for revenge. We can also use that to figure out any alternative motives it has!” I paused, that’s actually a solid plan. Though there is one flaw.
