C H A P T E R 50

Kenny's POV.

"No, this is where Kai buys his toys, not me." Kiara said looking up at me.

"Okay, we'll find another one." I chuckled as I led her out of the toyshop in the mall.

This is the third toyshop we've been to in the mall, and we haven't found the shop she's looking for. A huge part of me is enjoying it, my four year old bossing me around, I love this. I know I've missed so many parts of their lives.

I've missed them eating their first meal, saying their first word, taking their first step, they're first day at kindergarten. Them growing up to be this age, I've missed all of those moments, and it wasn't even my choice.

But I'm not going to dwell on that, I'm going to take every little time I spend with them, and make up for all those years. I will make sure they know how much I love them, even though I've known them for only two days now.

After Blue and I talked last night, we came to a mutual agreement. As much as I'm angry at her for keeping this from me, my anger is the last thing of my mind. I have a daughter and son, that's the only thing on my mind right now. We decided to work through this co-parenting thing without trying to kill each other. Try to get along for the children's sake. That doesn't dissipate my hatred for her, but again, last thing on my mind.

She told me everything I needed to know about Kai and Kiara after our heavy confrontation last night. From their likes and dislikes, hobbies and interests, differences and similarities, each one's favourite food, cartoons, toys, games, activities and more.

Which leads us to why we're entering the fourth toy store that Kiara says "it's not this one."

"They don't sell boy toys. It's where mom and I buy Mimi's clothes."

"Who's Mimi ?" I asked her confused as hell.

"My doll."

"Okay so we're looking for a toyshop that sells clothes for toys ?" I carefully asked her and she nodded excitedly.

This is my own mall and I don't even know what store she's talking about. "Here, call your mom and ask her the name of the shop." I gave here the ringing phone.

"Hey mom." She said putting the phone on her ear.

"Hey baby, what are you doing ?" I heard Blue say on the other line.

"Calling you." She said smiling. She forgot why she was calling.

I let her and Blue talk before she handed me the phone. "Blue I've been looking for a toy store now and-"

She chuckled. "She wants to buy clothes for Mimi ?"

"Yes." I sighed in relief. "What's the name of the shop ?"

"Just search Barbie's Fashion world on the mall map." She said and I went to the mall map portal on the kiosk machine.

I searched for the shop and it indicated that I was there. I looked up at the name of the store we were in front of. Barbie's Fashion world.

"Thanks, we found it." I said as we got inside.

"See ? This is the one." She said excitedly as she looked around the many small outfits. "Mimi would look good in this, we just need to find her size." She showed us a gold dress.

A whole fucking shop, dedicated to selling clothing for dolls ?

Kai and I waited for her to finish her shopping as we sat on the couch.
"Are you sure you don't want anything ?"
