C H A P T E R 65

"Kai I swear if you don't put away that tablet I'll throw it out the window and you won't ever see it again."

"Dad, mom is threatening me."

"And I'll act up on her threat if don't get up and put on your shoes." Kenny threatened.

He stood from the couch and put on his shoes, Kenny was drying Kiara's hair while I juggled between doing my hair and makeup. It was just chaotic inside the room with everyone moving left and right trying to get finish getting ready.

I really don't understand how we got this late. The party started half an hour ago and none of us are ready. We can't even blame traffic because we're literally on a ship. The venue is atleast fifteen minutes away from our hotel room.

We had a whole schedule planned out.

07:00, We left the house.

09:18, We arrived at the yacht.

09:30, We finally got settled in our room and decided to explore the humongous boat.

12:00, We decided to go back to the hotel room and get ready because the party starts at 14:00.

Now it's 14:52 and we aren't even ready. I don't understand how the time even flew by so fast. Jake even called Kenny to ask if we're still coming or not. It just comes off rude when you're late to the point where even the host calls to check up on you.

"I can't put on these butterfly pins." Kenny shrugged finally giving up.

I smiled taking the pins from him and planted them neatly on the two ponytails Kenny did on Kiara's hair.

"Are we all ready to go ?" I asked doing the finishing touches on my mascara.

"Mom we're all waiting for you!"

"I'm sorry, I'm done." I threw the mascara on the bed and put on my heels.

"You were shouting at us to get ready and now you're-"

"Okay Kai I said I'm sorry." I looked at him. Kenny chuckled taking the keys and locking after we got out.

"Does my outfit look okay ?"

"You look perfect." He kissed my cheek causing me to smile. We headed to the venue which was atleast fifteen minutes away from our room. This cruise ship was humongous and it didn't help that Kenny got us a room separate from the ones Jake and Charlotte got for the rest of the guests. This was an all expenses paid trip but Kenny got a private suite for us at the highest floor of the yacht. So unlike the rest of the guests, we paid for our own expenses because they were top class.

I mean what's the point of having a billionaire man if you can't enjoy the benefits ?

The theme of the party was blue, which reminded me of the baby shower and gender reveal they hosted five years ago. Kiara and Kai wore blue ripped jeans and matching denim jackets. Black Nike dunk high sneakers, with Kiara in a crop top and Kai in a blue shirt. They looked cute as hell, they always look adorable in matching outfits. And I know for a fact they'll hate matching as they grow older, so I'll have to make use of this adorableness while I still can.

Kenny on the other hand wore black cargo pants, a plain white shirt and white air force sneakers. He refused to wear the theme to a five year old's party, his words not mine. I wore black ripped jeans and a blue crop top and and light blue heels. I don't even need to mention it, but we looked hot.

I was nervous as hell, meeting Charlotte and Jake after five years was nerve-racking. Well, I saw Jake the day I met Kenny for the first time in my dad's office. But I was just too shocked and dumbfounded to even notice him.
