I was happy to be home, I walked out the the space craft, mask on my face. "Alexis!" I turned to see Grace jogging towards me, I smiled as I opened my arms.
"Hey Grace," I said, hugging her. Grace's smile slowly faded as she pulled away from me, looking me up and down.
"What?" I asked her, confused.
"Did something happen on earth? Why do you seem so upset?" Grace asked as I sighed, not in the mood."You can tell me what's wrong" I looked at Grace, sighing softly.
"I found why Eywa sent me there" Grace looked at me, intrigued.
"My mate is on earth" Grace smiled, squeezing my shoulders slightly. "That's amazing!! Are they with you?" Grace asked, excitedly, looking around.
I shook my head no. "No... he broke up with me a month ago. He's gone" Grace's eyes widened, rubbing my back. "I'm so sorry Alexis" "It's fine" I wave her off.
"I miss him but I'll live," Grace nodded as another space craft approached.
"I'll see you inside" I nodded as Grace greeted the rest of my family, walking them inside. I looked around, I smiled as I saw Rosie flying past.
She noticed me, making a noise. I smiled as she did a circle, flying away.
I chuckled, looking at the new people, some waving, others smiling. There were hundreds of soldiers, jogging around in groups, vehicles hustling about.
Even large robot-like machines manned by a single person inside it.
They called them an Ampsuit. Everyone was heavily armed. I turned my head slightly, seeing a man in a wheelchair. I walked up to him, making sure he knew I was there, without scaring him.
He turned to me and smiled. "Hi, I'm Alexis" I smiled, holding my hand out.
