It was my first day of school at Holmes Chapel High. I was never fond of moving but eventually got used to it.

I pulled my skirt down a little more and situated my backpack, stepping into the big building. I was honestly surprised to see students in their small groups talking not running and making chaos like they did at my last school in California.

I went straight to the office where they gave me my timetable and locker number. I scanned the hall until I came across Locker 180, unlocking it and beginning to empty my bag. I noticed a figure walked towards me before he just stopped beside to me.

"New student, right?" I turned to look at the boy. He gave me a genuine smile with pearly white teeth. Damn was he gorgeous or what.

"Uh...yeah. You?" I asked taking my backpack and timetable out, locking the locker afterwards.

"Nah, I've been here since 7th grade."

"Cool. I'm Y/N by the way." I reached out to shake his hand but he reached over to hug me. I was taken by surprise but hugged back.

"Nice to meet you Y/N, I'm Harry. So w-"

"Hey Haz! Come on, we going to the tree, you comin?" Another boy called out. I turned to look behind me to see a group of boys and girls talking and laughing. Harry grabbed my hand and directed me to the group of people.

"Guys, this is Y/N. She's new around here, can she tag along?" Harry asked keeping his hands entwined with mine.

"Yeah of course! Welcome Y/N, you're very pretty by the way. Lets go." The blonde haired boy led us all towards the very green backyard of the school. A girl slightly taller than me with pale blond hair and almond eyes came along to walk by my side.

"Hey, I'm Sophie."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Y/N but you might already know that." I smiled. She gave me a sweet toothy grin and stared back ahead at the group ahead of us. Harry was talking and it seemed as if the entire group looked up to him or admired him. He turned his head around to look at me, giving me wink. I lightly blushed but covered my face up and kept my composure.

"He likes you, you know." Sophie said, giving me a little nudge.

"Who?"

"Harry, duh."

"How could you possibly know that? We just met like 2 minutes ago." I asked as we sat down under the biggest oak tree I had ever seen. Everyone sat in kind of a large circle in small groups. I sat with Sophie, another girl, some other guy and Harry.

"Because of the way he looked at you and his actions towards you. He's never this friendly towards anyone." She winked. I looked down to the ground and fiddled with the grass in silence. "And he's never invited anyone to the tree."

I couldn't say I definitely liked Harry but I would totally go on a date with him. It was undeniable he was really attractive and seemed like a really nice guy.

"It's true you know." I looked up to meet the green eyes sat next to me where Sophie once was.

"What."

"I do like you." He smirked. I chuckled lightly and put a strand of hair behind my ear, only just realising how corny that action was.

"What's so funny!" He laughed. I shrugged my shoulders in amusement.

"Well then, since you won't talk then I will." He chuckled to himself. "I know we just met like 10 minutes ago but would you like to go out with me someday?" I asked. I was taken by surprise but thought about it.

He was cute and sweet and seemed like a gentleman.

"Hmm..." I pondered. "I'll think about it." The bell immediately rang just as I had finished my sentence. With my bag I stood up and turned to leave with Sophie, giving Harry a confident wink which plastered a huge smirk on his face.

Damn.
