I always had to go out of my way to avoid him, yet he would be doing the exact opposite. It was as if he got a thrill off being rude to me, but frankly; I did the same. It was fun to mess with him from time to time because his anger issues would kick in but he wouldn't be able to do anything to me because of my brother.

He practically lived off cussing and me out and calling me a b*tch or wh*re whenever my brother wasn't around. To say I hated him would be a complete understatement. I practically despised his selfish and arrogant self who wanted nothing more that to make my life a miserable hell.

Today I was lucky enough to make it through the entire day avoiding him. We did make eye contact in the lecture room and he flipped me off but that was it.

After driving back home, I trudged my way upstairs into my bedroom to empty my bag and relax for the weekend since I had just handed in my assignment so I was free.

After taking a short shower, I could hear muffled yelling from another room but I figured it was just Niall playing video games or whatever. I slipped on my track pants and a jumper to keep me warm before exiting the bathroom.

"Mini! Darling are you out now? I need help setting the table!" My mum called out. She had come to Niall and I's place for a 'short visit' which turned out to be over a week.

"Yeah okay," I grumbled, turning to enter my bedroom to put some socks on. As I opened the door, I was shocked to see non other than Harry sitting on my bed with phone in hands. Anger immediately boiled in me as to why he was sitting in my room with his filthy ass.

"What the hell are you doing in my room." I growled, taking the nearest hair tie and putting my hair up into bun.

He looked up at me and for a brief second really noticed how attractive he was when he wasn't speaking or thinking. Obviously that was quickly replaced when his eyebrows furrowed in annoyance and he rolled his eyes.

"Give me a damn charged, my phone is on 5%." He demanded. Walking towards him I attempted to push him off but instead he snatched at my wrist and tugged me away. "Don't even think about it. Give me your charger."

"Get the hell out of room!" I growled, already feeling anger towards him. If only I could throw a punch.

"Just give me a damn charger for goodness sake Marija!" He rose his voice, standing up. His tall figure toward over mine but I didn't even flinch. He didn't intimidate me in anyway.

"Get the f.uck out of my room!" I pushed at his chest which he didn't even seem to flinch.

"Why do you have to be such a b-"

"Okay guys seriously! Do you know how hard it is to play guitar hero with you two carrying on like an old married couple?!?" Niall barged into my room with his little electric guitar in hand and the cord hanging loosely.

"Shut up and get your friend out of my room." I snapped. He looked a bit taken back at my sudden outburst but I wasn't willing to apologise until he was out of my room.

"Why can't you two just get along for a day? That's all I ever ask!" He sighed, turning around and making his way into his room. I looked to Harry who eventually obeyed my orders and followed Niall.

I slammed my door shut and laid on my bed, ranting to my bestfriend about how much I hated Harry. She was the only other girl besides me who didn't have a huge crush on him.

I never and still don't understand how Niall can be friends with that guy. Sure he's a bit wealthy but other than that he's a total asshole. The complete opposite of Niall who was sweet and a total mummy's boy.

Mum.

Crap.

I quickly slipped on the closest socks I could find and rushed down the stairs only to find that the table had already been set and mum was about to sit down. She looked up at me with slight annoyance in her eyes probably because I forgot about the table.

"I uh...sorry mum I forgot." I apologised, sitting on the chair next to her. Harry appeared into the dining room with a large dish bowl in his hands and placed it on the centre of the table.

"Thank you Harry, you're quite the gentleman." My mum complimented, flashing him a loving smile. I scoffed to myself but clearly it was loud enough for them to hear. She snapped her head to me and folded her arms across her chest. "Have you got something to say. That was extremely rude considering how hard Harry tries to be nice to you!"

"Geez mum, don't act as if he's a Greek God or something. He's far from nice." I rolled my eyes. I knew I was most likely pissing her off and Harry was probably smirking to himself but I couldn't hold in my anger and annoyance.

"Stop this right now. You're 23 years old and still act like a 7 year old. Goodness. Go and get your brother so we can eat." I abruptly stood to my feet and walked up the stairs to Niall's room.

I could hear my mother apologising to Harry for 'my poor behaviour' once again. And by once again I mean every time we are all together. The amount of times I've had this talk/ argument with her is insane. If only she could listen to me for once.

"Mini, can you come in here for a sec!" Niall shouted but I was already in the room with his back facing me.

"What."

He turned around and stood up from the swivel chair, sitting on his bed and patting a spot for me to sit. I knew what this talk was gonna be about.

"Listen. I know you and Harry have some obvious tension for some reason. But he's staying the night tonight for our assessment so I really need you to not pick a fight with him." He softly spoke as if he didn't want to hurt my feelings.

That backfired.

"So you're saying it's my fault he's rude to me? Of course you'd believe your friend over your flesh any day." I snapped, standing up to leave but he softly grabbed my wrist and tugged me back down.

"No it's not anyone's fault because I don't know the reason. But could you please refrain from each other just for tonight?" He begged. Giving in I nodded my head and followed him downstairs to the dining table. The only seat that was left was the one directly opposite of him meaning I had to spend the next half and hour staring at his hideous face.
