I told y'all I was in the mood for sadness last time, so don't get upset at me for making you sad 🤪

I loved this boy,
And man, was he great.
He loved me back,
And I knew, it was fate.

We talked for hours
We cried, we laughed.
There were times that were tough,
But never bad.

The way he held my hand,
The way he kissed me.
The days we would lay on the sand,
And he would tell me he missed me.

Yes, I knew it was wrong.
I knew it was bad
I knew the longer I held on,
The more our ending would be sad.

I 'need to let go' he told me,
One day on our beach.
He let go of my hand,
And moved out of reach.

'What do you mean?'
I would ask him, not understanding what he meant.
'its time to let go' he said,
Grabbing my hand again.

Days, weeks, months flew by.
And he is no longer by my side.
Even though he is no longer there,
I can't help but to stop and stare

All the memories
Good, and bad.
All of the amazing things we had.

I had to let go of him
For my sake, and maybe his.
He is gone now.
He always has been, and is.

I walk through the gates,
And up the small hill,
I get closer to his grave,
And place on it, a small daffodil.

'I told the stars about you.'
I said, a small smile replacing my frown
'i told them all about our story.'
I said, running my fingers over the gravestone.

I told the stars about him.
I told the stars about my beautiful prince.
The way he loved me
The way he held me.

I'll never forget him,
It's impossible to.

Maybe I'll join him one day,
And When that day comes, I'll say,
'my prince,
I told the stars about you.'

Ik it's kinda sad, but I thought it was good.

Btw, this poem is entirely written by me. I do not give permission to re-write or repost this poem.
It took me so long to write 🥹

Anyway, just so y'all know, in this story, Felix is imagining Hyunjin being with him, even though Hyunjin obviously passed beforehand.
Hyunjin & Felix were together before he passed, but Felix couldn't move on.
Felix "told the stars about" Hyunjin, as a way to cope (if that makes sense)

I hope yall enjoyed this, as I enjoyed writing it.
