SEPTEMBER 1912

DISCLAIMER; I decided to change Astrid to be born in 1898.

A tingling sensation ran through my body, my eyes grew heavy. Please don't tell me I got what Terrence got. And he is a demigod so he'd probably not be harmed by it! My arms felt all weird and woozy, I couldn't think after I moved them. Just Terrence saying how horrible this is in my mind. My face turned into a frown when Mama walked in dress for the ball.

My sisters complimented her and surrounded her. But Terrence's creepy face and him creepily saying the effects of what might have happened to me rushed through my head. I started hyperventilating. Mama enjoyed the praise but Maria turned around to look at me, she saw my red face and how desperately worried I looked. I felt sick.

"Astrid, are you feeling okay?" She asked me rather worriedly, I would've spoke but my throat tingled too. I nodded desperately. The Tsarina looked at me and back at the wall, she then walked up to me and felt my pulse. "Anna, go get Dr. Bolkin!" Mama commanded. Anna nodded and held up her skirt as she ran out the room. I stood with my eyes barely open and felt as if I would've fainted, was I dying?

No.. Terrence once told me that death is weird. After a few minutes, a knock was heard on the door. Anna asked Mama if she could let Botkin in, she approved. And he came in, he walked to me. "Open your eyes wide." He said. I opened them as wide as I could but it took a while. "Move your arms." He said. I started moving them but I had to force myself to. "Walk up to the wall." I began walking slowly, it took me two minutes to reach a nearby wall.

"The medicine is working. She won't be able to move as freely and quickly as she would do regularly. The shot will not be so bad later as it is now. And she will be in a much calmer state. However, keep her further away from Terrence. My father went to do this same thing but he went even more ballistic when he figured out what happened. And it seemed to have no effects off of him. If he finds out she has this, he'll find a way to stop it." Doctor Botkin informed the Tsarina my mama.

"Thank you doctor." Mama said, the grand duchesses looked confused at her. She led him out the room. I looked at Terrence, he was staring at Botkin with his eyes twitching turning golden slowly. Anger. His hand paused time around us just me and him. He stood up and walked quickly to me.

"Don't worry Terrence. Please, don't get angry." He stared at me for a bit. And sighed in the end.

"Be safe okay. It sucks doesn't it? I hated it and my father just helped me escape its side effects. Just be careful okay, your heart can go quicker if you try to run really fast. It could be really bad." He warned me. I nodded.

Terrence went back to his spot and it went back to normal. He was sipping vodka. We stood outside the ballroom as they announced the name of the king and his family. I then saw Cian and Kitty walking around and talking to Terrence. The king had six children, I didn't know because I didn't really care. While I was passed out in my prison cell, they went to see each other again. The queen let her lady in waiting/nurse to watch me, Annabelle. Cian watched too.

Each of us grand duchesses has an assigned officer to look after us tonight. Cian was busy with Caoimhe so. Thank God for us because it was the ones on the Standart. Tatiana and Olga got their officers assigned and waited until everything was done so our parents could enter. I still missed Margo and Heinrich.. but my mother who did actually raise me in Germany's words hit me, " Heinrich should be an Archduke and Margo should be a princess. Everything in our family is messed up."

Archduke Heinrich, it sounded funny, Princess Margaret (her actual name). I took deep breaths. "Make sure to look after her closely, we don't want another incident." Mama said to none other than Malcom! I sighed in relief, somebody I actually knew.
