Chapter 18- Hwayang Yeonhwa on Stage: Epilogue

[ADDED CHAPTER]

May 8th, 2016: 

We were on the second concert of The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage Tour in Seoul. We were quite exhausted having given our all these past few days. On top of that, most of our parents were in attendance today, so we really wanted to do our best for them. We were now at the end of the show, making our own final speeches. I knew this was going to be emotional because even yesterday Namjoon had cried.

"Just before going onstage for Run, my gaze met Rap Monster's, Namjoon's," Hoseok began the messages, "I felt so, so happy. I don't know why. I was really touched at the moment. As I said yesterday, by now it's almost a formula that all this happiness, it's all on you ARMY. It's all thanks to you I can be where I am today. Thank you so much. With ARMY, I think anything's possible. Thank you so much, I love you".

He sent a flying kiss to the crowd with slightly watery eyes, but no tears yet.

"Yes, I'll..." Taehyung starts his speech but is interrupted by chants of Kim Taehyung making him go teary-eyed quicker than he probably expected, "I'll speak from the heart. I think I received more love from you than I ever gave you, so thank you. You always love me and on SNS or music shows you always show up to support us. Those things really mean a lot to me. So, I want to do my best and give more, more, more love to you. Even now, I love you so much. Since it's Parents' Day and my folks are here, I want to say this to my parents: I love you. Don't cry. I love you".

I look over at where Taehyung's parents were sitting, and I could see his parents were most definitely crying. He makes a large heart and Yoongi takes no time in continuing down the line.

"Yeah, I always want more, and I'm obsessed about being perfect, but somebody once told me this. If you aim for perfection, you can't be perfect. Rather than being the perfect singer and perfect person, Min Yoongi. My goal is to be remembered as a cool, nice person when you look back in a distant future... For the first time, we have our parents and family here. They have always come to see me, but I've never told them this before, I think I can finally be a proud son," I could see him holding back his emotions as he continued, "dad, mom, bro. Thank you so much and I love you".

He bowed and Jimin waited a few seconds for people to clap and for Yoongi to finish his bow.

"For me, today I want to talk about the people who made us who we are today. First off, the people who created us Hitman Bang PD and people from our company, thank you. Also, to people who always support me. I'd like to thank my friends and acquaintances. And also, to the staff members who always help us behind the scenes. And our stage, thank you directors and camera operators, and band members. Thank you so much," he takes a breath, looking into the cheering crowd, obviously getting emotional, "and I'll just say this today. We don't talk about these things much in the back," he takes a step back, past Hoseok who was beside him so he could get a full view of all of us.

"Then don't," Yoongi said, obviously trying not to cry and knowing what was coming.

"Taehyung, Yoongi hyung, Y/N, Seokjin hyung, Jungkook, Namjoon hyung, Hoseok hyung," he lists, starting to cry, like all the members including me who was using my sleeve to dab at my slowly soaking eyes and face. He tries to speak, but lowers his mic to wipe his eyes crying, "... I am thankful to you guys the most..."
