Chapter 8

+ Arya pov

"I need you to stay here, all right?" Sam says "You gotta stay here and you're gonna watch them... All of them."

"Thanks for staying on my path," Dad says as he's about to walk outside but Sam stop him

"Oh, yeah, No, no, Dad, Hey! The... Oh, the path. I'm sorry. I forgot about the path." Sam says and I quickly slip into the house and start looking for the glasses

"God where are they?" I mumble

"I'm gonna help you guys," Mikaela said as Optimus lifted her into Sam's room

"Ok awesome great, yeah, you look over there," I say pointing to the closet area

"It's in my bag, where's my bag?" Sam asked

"I don't know?" I say

"Just check this whole section, just, just give it a clean sweep and I'll get the corner here," Sam said

"Are you sure you want her to look there?" I ask spotting a shoebox under his bed and he quickly grabs the box and shoves it away from where Mikaela is

"You're so gross," I say and looking for the glasses outside of Sam's room

       There is was a huge thud and flickering of the lights and I knew one of the Autobots must have found the powerline.

"Jesus Christ, they're like giant children," I mutter going back to looking for the glasses

'Great no power' I think to myself grabbing my phone for light and there was an another thud

"You have got to be kidding me"

"Arya where are you?" I hear Mom call

"I'm downstairs in the dining room Mom" I call back up to her

I go to the kitchen island and find Sam's backpack.

"Bingo" I mumble and rummage through it until I find the glasses

"Sam, Mikaela I got them... I got the..." I say before I notice people outside our house

"Um, we weren't expecting company was we?" I asked as Mom, Dad, Sam, and Mikaela came downstairs

"Never heard of it," Dad says

"Never will"

"Your kids the great-grandson and daughter of Captain Archibald Witwiliky, are they not?" A man asked

"It's Witwicky," Dad says

"May I enter the premises, sir?" the man said already entering the house

"Ron, there's guys all over the front yard," Mom says

"What's going on here?" Dad asks

"Your son filed a stolen car report last night. We think it's involved in a national security matter." The agent said

"That doesn't even make sense," I say

"They're ripping up my rose bushes." Mom shouts from the other room

"National security?" Dad questions

"That's right" the man answers

"Get me a sample and some isotope readings." the man said

"They're pulling bushes out of the ground. Good Lord! They've got to get their hands off my bush!" Mom says charging with her bat

"Drop the bat, ma'am." the agent says

"You'd better get those guys out of my garden or I am gonna beat the crap out of them!" Mom threatens

"Are you experiencing any flu-like symptoms? Aching joints? Fever?" The agent said holding a light to Mom's face

"How are you doing kids, Sam? Arya?" The agent asked and I narrowed my eyes

"Well, I need you guys to come with me." The man said

"Whoa, way out of line," Dad says getting between the man and us

"Sir, I am asking politely, back off." the agent said

"You're not taking my kids," Dad says

"I'm gonna call the cops because there's something fishy going on here." Dad threatens

"Yea, there's something fishy about you, your son, your daughter, and your little Tacobell dog and this whole operation you going on here." The man said

"Operation, what the hell are you talking about?" I ask

"That's what I'd like to know the little girl." the man said looking me up and down

"I think direct contact"

"Son, step forward, please." the man said

"Just stand," Sam asked nervously

"Fourteen rade. Bingo! Tag them and bag them!" the man says

"You hurt my dog I'll kick your ass!" Mom screams at the men

"Kids, don't say anything, not a word until we get a lawyer!" Dad shouts
