2 - New Job

Kelly's P.O.V

"Mom, wake up," I hear and feel someone someone- Cole -shaking me, its too early.

"What?" I ask, sighing.

"Mom, I have to go to school, its seven-thirty already," he says, shaking me again.

Did he say seven-thirty?
Oh shoot! I'm going to be late.

I sit up and throw the covers off me, I stand up and run to the bathroom.

"Cole, you're going to have to go in bus today," I tell him, kissing him in the cheek, and finally going to the bathroom to take a shower.

"But I don't like going in bus." he whines.

"I'm already late to work," I yell at him, I strip out of my clothes and get in the shower.

When I get out of the shower and into my room, I don't see Cole nowhere in sight so I figure he was in school.

I rapidly put my clothes on which consisted of a white sleeved work shirt, a black pencil skirt, a black blazer, and black heels.

I'm all black and white, baby.

I put my blonde hair up in a bun and do my makeup.

7:50, great!

10 minutes, damn.

I hurry out the door, locking it behind me, and into my car.

I'm going to be late. I have never been late to anything in my whole life. And I certainly don't want to start now, now in my first day of my new job.

I hurry out of the car and into the building. Once I was inside I go to the front desk to get my pass, which I haven't gotten, yet.

"Good morning, I'm Kelly Smith, I'm Mr. Matthew's new P.A." Itell the guy at the front desk, and by looking at the tag name, I learn his name is Sven.

"Sure, wait a moment," he goes to do something in the computer and no longer after that he gives me my pass. "Go go to top floor, that's where his office is,"

"Thanks," I basically run towards the elevator and press the top bottom as Sven told me.

Once I get there I hurry out of the elevator and to the front desk where there was a woman, late 50s, I would guess, and very sophisticated looking. I look down to my watch and see that it was 7:59.

Uff.

"Good morning, I'm Mr. Matthew's new P.A." I tell the woman once I get to the front desk.

"Yes, my name is Mary, follow me please," she gives me a small smile and starts walking, I quickly follow her.

"I'll be showing you the place and how to do your work, then you'll meet Mr. Matthew and get to work, it should be an easy day," she explains to me. I nod.

The building was pretty big, though Mary only shows me the top floor, which consists of Liam's office, mine, a conference room, and kitchen. She also shows me how to do Liam's coffee and how to manage my computer.

My office was simple, white walls - I was happy that there weren't glass walls like where I used to work I feel more comfortable like this - and a cream colored floor.

There was my desk with my black computer and things I might need. Two comfy seats in front of my desk, the rest of the space, it was for me to decorate, I like that. I could bring pictures of me and Cole and many other things to make it look homey.
