Chapter 10

Nezuko was wondering around the village she was lead to by the crow, Tanjiro was in his box on Nezukos back. A man walked past, and he caught Nezukos attention because of the depressed look, and the bruise on his face. Nezuko properly turned around and stared at the man for a moment.

"Kazumi-san looks devastated... he was right beside Satoko when she was taken" Nezuko directed her attention to some women who were gossiping at the side of the street,
"It's so unsettling that this happens every night"
"Yeah I hate this..."
"Always after nightfall. Young girls are going to get abducted again"

Nezuko turned around and ran after Kazumi,
"KAZUMI-SAN!" Kazumi turned around to see who called out to him,
"I would like to inquire about the specifics of this situation, may I?"

Kazumi lead Nezuko to the place where Satoko disappeared,
"Satoko was here when she disappeared, you might not believe me..."
"I believe you! I believe what you've said!" Kazumi looked at Nezuko shocked, everyone else he told thought he was crazy.

Meanwhile somewhere else in the village, a girl was about to go to bed. She laid down and started at the ceiling for a moment,
'I wonder what is happening to the abducted children, I hope they're safe and sound...' she drifted of to sleep after that.

A black puddle started to form under the girls pillow and a pair of hands emerged from the puddle and grabbed the girl absorbing her into the puddle.

Nezuko and Kazumi walked around the area trying to look for any clues of where Satoko and the other girls could be, they reached an area where Nezuko had an uneasy feeling and felt the presence of a demon, she looked around and couldn't see any trace of a demon,
'A demons here but I can't see them, does that mean there underground?'

Kazumi looked at her weirdly, then a look of concern appeared on his face as he watched Nezuko pull out a katana and plunge it into the ground. A black sort of substance leaked out of the area where Nezuko stabbed and a unconscious girl appeared out of the puddle.

A hand tried to grab at the girl but fortunately Nezuko grabbed onto the girl and moved away from the puddle. A demon with three horns attached to his head rised from out of the puddle,
'A demon!'
"Where did you take all of the abducted women! I have two more questions-" the demon suddenly started to grind his teeth together creating a horrible scratching sound, he then sunk back down into the puddle.

Nezuko turned around to Kazumi,
"Kazumi-san please hold her and stay by my side! As long as you are within my range, I will be able to protect you both!" Nezuko handed the unconscious girl over to Kazumi, and took a stance ready to attack the demon when it decided to reappear.

'The demon might emerge from the ground or the wall, there's also the possibility that it might also emerge out of thin air or from the sky' Nezuko closed her eyes and focused on her surroundings,
'Its here!'
'Water breathing fifth form...-'

Three demons appeared from out of the ground trying to grab at her,
'Three of them!!'
'Don't panic. I can take them all on!'
'Water breathing eighth form: Waterfall jar!' Nezuko swung her sword down as an attempt to attack the three demons.
