Chapter 43

"Y/n, if you don't mind. Can you help me out with my training?" Y/n smiled up at Nezuko.
They were currently sitting on the engawa and Nezuko was standing next to them,
"Sure, what do you need me to do?"
"You are going to have to stay up for this but, if I ever stop doing total concentration breathing while I'm sleeping, hit my covers with these blanket beaters".

Nezuko held up to wooden sticks which where shaped strangely,
"I'll ask Tanjiro as well, so you don't have to do it" Y/n took a hold of one of the blanket beaters,
"I'll do it" they smiled at Nezuko who smiled back in return.

It was night now and Nezuko was in bed with Y/n and Tanjiro sitting next to each other on one of her sides. Nezuko was currently doing well with her total concentration breathing.
"She's improved a lot with doing total concentration breathing" Y/n said in a quiet voice. Tanjiro still heard and looked at Y/n.

Y/n felt his gaze on them and turned to look at him and smiled,
"It was only just about a week or two ago that doing total concentration breathing would hurt her lungs by only doing it for a few seconds. She's improved a lot" Tanjiro now smiled, proud of his sister. That proudness then changed to a deadpan as he realised that she had stopped doing the breathing technique.

Y/n noticed that she stopped as well and sighed,
"Whelp, she told us to hit her with these things if she stopped doing it." Y/n and Tanjiro both raised the blanket beaters and started to hit Nezukos cover waking her up.
"You stopped doing total concentration breathing" Y/n smiled at Nezuko who sighed.

It was about an hour later and Y/n was starting to feel a bit drowsy. Without realizing they rested there head on Tanjiro's shoulder. Tanjiro had noticed Y/ns' tiredness and suggested earlier that they went to bed, but he didn't expect Y/n to fall asleep against him. His cheeks went a bit red, but he let them sleep.

It was now 10 days later and Nezuko was standing outside with Kiyo, Sumi, Naho and
Y/n with a giant gourd. She breathed in and then blew into the gourd,
"You can do it!" The trio encouraged. After a few seconds the gourd exploded,
"IT BROKE!!"
"YAAAAAAY!!" They all celebrated.

Nezuko was back to training and was currently playing a game of tag with Kanao. Due to the training Nezuko was able to actually catch up to Kanao. Nezukos' sped up a bit, reached out her hand and was able to grab onto Kanaos' wrist,
"YAAAAAAAAY!" The trio and Nezuko celebrated.

Nezuko was now going up against Kanao in the reflex training. Now Kanao wasn't instantly winning and Nezuko actually had a chance of winning. Kanao was about to put her hand over a cup that Nezuko was holding onto. Nezuko was able to lift up the cup before she was able to do that though, she was about to dump it on her but she paused for a second,
'This medicinal tea stinks. I'd feel bad if I dumped it on her'.

She then realized what she could do. Nezuko stood up a bit and put the cup on top of Kanaos' head. The trio, Nezuko and Y/n celebrated at Nezukos victory while Zenitsu and Inosuke just watched from the side.
