Chapter 17

"WATCH OUT! YOU CAN'T BE CARELESS FOR EVEN A BIT! IF THEY REALLY DO BELONG TO THE TWELVE DEMON MOONS... THEN WE CAN BE SURE THAT THEY ARE STRONGER THAN THE DEMONS THAT YOU'VE BEATEN BEFORE!!" Yushiro called out from behind Nezuko,
"ALRIGHT, I GOT IT!".

Yushiro turned to Tamayo,
"Tamayo-Sama! Lets make them our bait to lure the demons away while we run away!" Tamayo had a horrified look on her face,
"I'm just kidding!".

Yahaba blocked Tanjiros kick with the side of of his arm,
"Don't kick up so much dust! It's so dirty!!" The eye on Yahabas hand closed and Tanjiro was shot backwards.

"AHAHAHAHA!" Susamaru regenerated her arms,
'She grew a new arm in less time than I need to blink my eyes! Her recovery speed is faster than the demon I encountered during the selection!!' Nezuko turned her head to the side to see Tanjiro flying right at her.

Tanjiro crashed into Nezuko, and she grabbed onto him,
"TIME TO DIE!!" Susamaru then threw a temari ball at where Nezuko and Tanjiro were standing, Nezuko threw herself and Tanjiro onto the floor to dodge the temari ball,
"Demon Slayer!! You need to get rid of the male one with the arrow patterns first!! We'll work together with your brother to handle the female with the temari balls!"

Nezuko turned to look at Yushiro,
"...!! Okay!" She then turned to Tanjiro,
"Tanjiro.. Don't do anything too rash" Tamayo and Yushiro ran out of the house. The two siblings got up, Nezuko ran to where Yahaba was while Tanjiro ran to where Susamaru was.

Yahaba was now standing on the ground, Nezuko ran up to him and was about to slice at his neck, but Yahaba lifted up his arms and said,
"What a dirty little tramp of a child. Don't come near me" the eyes on his hands closed, an arrow appeared underneath Nezuko and shot her backwards into a tree.

The eye on Yahabas hands closed again but this time Nezuko was shot into a bunch of different directions. The eyes closed again and the arrow took Nezuko upwards and then dropped her,
'...!! Breathing technique! I must use a breathing technique to break the impact!!'
'Water Breathing eighth form: Waterfall jar' Nezuko slashed at the ground which saved her from severally injuring herself, but instead hit the ground face first.

"Susamaru... Isn't that person over there the 'escapee' Tamayo? This is a nice welcoming present for us",
"Is that so!" Susamaru threw a bunch of temari balls at Tanjiro who dogged them all, but the last one she threw she aimed it at the floor which then bounced off the floor and into Tanjiros direction.

Tanjiro moved his leg back ready to kick it,
"YOU MUSTN'T KICK IT!!" Tamayo called out to Tanjiro, but the temari already made contact with Tanjiros leg and cut it off, he then fell to the floor,
"TANJIRO, TURN AROUND!!" Nezuko warned. Tanjiro moved his head and as soon as he did Susamaru kicked him into the wall of the house, Tamayo then ran up to him.

"So happy, so happy. That was a nice kick. Yahaba, can we bring their four heads back with us?" Susamaru turned to Yahaba,
"No. It's two. The demon slayer and the escapee, the other two are useless."

Tamayo was sitting with Tanjiro, who was resting against the side of the house due to his leg not healing,
"Tanjiro-San..." Tamayo inspected the wound,
'I can't stop the bleeding. His recovery is too slow.' Tamayo brought out a syringe,
"This medicine will immediately heal your lower leg.".

Yahaba put his hands out and the eyes closed again, he sent a whole bunch of arrows which Nezuko dodged, but one of the arrows twisted around Nezukos arm,
"Everything is going in the direction of what I predicted! Watch me as I twist your arm off!".

Nezuko twisted her body in the direction of the arrow and was able to free her arm, but she lost her haori in the process,
"Tch" Yahaba had an annoyed expression on his face. Yahaba sent out a few more arrows.

'Water breathing sixth form: Twisting Cyclone Current' Nezuko twisted her body around and caught the arrows in her attack,
'My blade is heavy!!' Nezuko thought as she lifted her blade above her head,
'Water Breathing Second Form Modified: Horizontal Water wheel'.
