Chapter 12

Tanjiro lifted up his leg now in front of the 3 horned demon and slammed it down trying to kick the demon but missing due to the demon disappearing into the puddle again,
"Tanjiro! Don't pursue them too far! Come back to where I am!" Tanjiro turned around to look at Nezuko and then started to jog in her direction.

The demon with 2 horns appeared from the ground and tried to grab at Tanjiro but he ended up flipping over him, Tanjiro then just calmly walked up to Nezuko.

"Tanjiro is currently still a demon, Nezuko. Which means, that he isn't so weak that you need to protect him."

'Is this really okay? Leaving things to him... if he's able to protect the two of them, then I'll be able to concentrate on attacking...' Nezuko looked down at her foot noticing how the ground was starting to sink, a back puddle formed underneath Nezuko, she started to sink.

Tanjiro tried to reach out to her but wasn't able to reach her,
"Tanjiro, I'm going under! You protect those two!" After Nezuko said that she fully sunk into the puddle.

Inside of the swamp was dark and there wasn't anything there except for pieces of cloth, clothing and other accessories, Nezuko quickly looked around the area,
'I'm inside the swamp! That means these are... the clothes and items of the girls it has kidnapped?'.

The demons with 1 and 3 horns approached Nezuko,
"Hehehe do you feel the pain, you little brat? There iss almost no air within thiss ssswamp. And also... your body being entangled by the darkness of the sswamp feels very heavy doesn't it, Hahahahaha!"
"You cannot move like you were above ground. You had it coming! How sstupid of you just jumping in here just like that!"

The two demons started to swim around Nezuko, she thought about what she should do next and what the best option would be,
'The air from the top of the narrow mist mountain was even thinner than it is here, and also... I've gotman attack that's able to unleash it's power in water too' Nezuko observed the demons movements for a second.

'They're able to move within the swamp with that kind of an angle? No matter! If I'm going to attack them then I have to slice them when they get close!' The two demons went to attack Nezuko and Nezuko got into the needed fighting stance and when they got close Nezuko then attacked them,
'Water breathing sixth form: Twisting whirlpool'

The attack was cut the demons up into small parts killing them in the process,
'Ugh... this is unbearable! I need to get to the surface...' Nezuko started to swim upwards towards the surface as fast as she could.

Tanjiro punched the last remaining demon in the stomach,
'This person is so strong! It seems he hasn't used any of his powers, but even so, he's still really strong! I fear that he has been given a fairly large amount of blood! His movement are too fast. I can't dive back into the swamp, but I've already adapted to these simple attacks... even if my head is kicked with this force that threatens to knock it clean off, even if my inner organs are damaged... I will soon recover quickly...'

The demon swiped at Tanjiro and was able to hit him leaving a scratch mark where his scar on his forehead is Tanjiro brought his hand up to the scratch,
'Good! I'm going to open a hole in your face!' The demon lunged his body forward about to attack Tanjiro again but his arm he was about to attack Tanjiro with got cut off by Nezuko who was able to resurface from the swamp.

The demon fell backwards and stared at Nezuko for a moment,
'Were they killed? Were those two killed by this girl...?' Nezuko glared down at the demon in front of her,
"Exactly how many people have you all killed?!"
"The ones killed are all women! If they continue living, they will only become uglier and nastier... which is why I ate them you should be thanking us-"

The demons speech was cut off due to Nezuko slicing at the sides of the demons mouth,
"AH!" The demon backed up against the nearest wall, Nezuko just glared at the demon,
"Enough." Nezuko placed her sword by the demons head ready to kill him if necessary,
"Let's talk about what sort of information you know about Kibutsuji Muzan."

The demon started to shake Nezuko looked at him confused,
"I cannot say.".
