Chapter 34

The two slayers stood and stared up at the now huge demon; who was also staring down at them. Inosuke's grip tightened on the handle of his katana. He pointed at the demon with one of his blades,
"I AM A DEMON SLAYER, INOSUKE HASHIBIRA!! COME AND FIGHT ME, YOU SCUM!!" Y/n just stared at Inosuke dumbfounded at the sudden burst of energy.

The demon wasn't impressed with Inosukes new found ambition and just thwacked him,
"INOSUKE!!" Y/n called out. Inosuke was smacked into a tree and the demon lunged at him and smashed the tree. Inosuke had dodged the attack and was above him,
'Beast Breathing Third Form: Rip And Devour' he aimed his attack towards the back of the demon's neck but when his swords made contact with it they broke.

Inosuke still mid air looked at the blades,
'It broke...' while Inosuke was distracted the demon hit him into another tree,
'Uh oh! I wasn't ready for that!' The demon grabbed Inosuke by the neck, lifted him up and started to choke him,
"YOU STAY AWAY... FROM... MY FAMILY!!"
"I WILL NOT DIEEEEEE!!"
'Beast Breathing First Form: Pierce And Extract' Inosuke tried to use what was left of his katanas to attempt to decapitate the demon.

"INOSUKE!!" The demon had forgotten about Y/n due to being preoccupied with Inosuke.
Y/n ran up to the demon and tried to cut the demon's arm off. Obviously their blade got stuck halfway in the demon's arm but they had an idea. Y/n started to swing there body and use the momentum to swing themselves forwards and backwards. Y/N's plan worked and they were able to cut of the demon's arm.

Inosuke and Y/n fell to the floor. Y/n rushed straight towards Inosuke and held onto his nearly unconscious body. The demon's arm regenerated back and he was about to attack the duo. Fortunately the demon's arm was gone before he could touch the two, Y/n looked to the side and saw a familiar mismatched haori.

He turned around and looked at the duo. He recognised the h/c haired slayer and slightly nodded at them as a way to say that they did a good job. The demon's arm had regenerated and he had launched his self towards the demon slayer,
'Water Breathing Fourth Form: Striking Tide' he decapitated the demon, Inosuke slightly sat up,
"Ah! Inosuke be careful!" Y/n panicked a bit.

Inosuke admired the slayer who had just killed the demon,
'Whoaa, he's on a whole other level, we're as different as heaven and earth, with a single strike he sliced up that demon like he was tofu. WOW WOW WOW!' Inosuke admired the man,
'What's up with this guy!! I can't contain my excitement!'.

Y/n smiled at the slayer,
"Thank you for saving us" Giyuu looked at Y/n and nodded in return. Inosuke suddenly stood up making Y/n panic,
"FIGHT WITH ME, HANHAN BAORI!!"
"..." Giyuu just stared at Inosuke,
"YOU BEAT ONE OF THE 12 KIZUKI, AND I'LL BEAT YOU! IF I DO THE CALCULATIONS, I'LL BE THE STRONGEST ONE!!"
"Um... he wasn't one of the twelve kizuki..."
Y/n mumbled towards Inosuke who ignored them.

"You'd do better to go back to your training, fool!" Inosuke froze,
"WHAAAAAT!!"
"That wasn't one of the twelve kizuki just now. They just told you that" he pointed at Y/n. Inosuke looked down accusingly at Y/n,
"I did tell you, twice actually".

Giyuu turned to look at Y/n,
"The Kakushi will be here soon, so I would recommend staying and waiting here for them. If you have any medical supplies it would probably be best if you tend to his wounds" Y/n nodded. Giyuu then walked away. Inosuke just stared at his retreating figure,
"HEY WAIT!! DAMN IT!!" Giyuu didn't turn around,
"I won't get involved in a fight with someone who doesn't know the extent of his own injuries".

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU! YOU WALK TOO FAST!!" Y/n just sighed, and brought out there small medical kit,
"Sit down Inosuke. I'll tend to your wounds while we wait for the Kakushi" Inosuke relentlessly sat down and let Y/n tend to his wounds while they waited for the Kakushi.
