Chapter 20

"CHIRP! CHIRP!" A sparrow flew up to Nezuko and landed on her hand,
"CHIRP! CHIRP!"
"Okay, I get it! I'll go do something!"
"HELP ME! MARRY ME!"
"ZENITSU!" The blonde was yanked off the woman,
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD?! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT THIS GIRL DOESN'T LIKE IT?! AND QUIT UPSETTING YOUR SPARROW!"

The (h/c) person stood back and watched this lady dressed in the corps uniform lecture there companion with dotted eyes.
"WAIT! THAT'S A CORPS UNIFORM! YOU WERE AT THE FINAL SELECTION!"
"I DON'T KNOW ANYONE LIKE YOU! TRUST ME!"
"HUUUUUUH?! BUT WE'VE MET! WE'VE MET! THE PROBLEM IS YOUR MEMORY!".

Nezuko continued to lecture the blonde, while the other person turned to the lady,
"I'm so sorry about him, I hope he didn't hurt you" they bowed and apologized for there friends actions,
"Don't worry I'm fine"
"HEY–!" The person who was apologizing to the woman turned around to face the blonde and just glared at him.

"SHE STILL NEEDS TO MARRY ME, SHE LIKES ME!"
"SHAME ON YOU!" The lady slapped the blonde continuously. Nezuko grabbed the lady while the other person just watched the scene with a deadpan expression,
"Calm down for a moment." Nezuko was able to pull the lady off the blonde.

"UWAHHH!"
"WHEN DID I EVER SAY THAT I LIKED YOU!! I ONLY TALKED TO YOU BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU NEEDED HELP BECAUSE YOUR FRIEND SEEMED STRESSED AND WAS TRYING TO CARRY YOU!!!" The blonde was flabbergasted,
"DOESN'T THAT MEAN THAT YOU TALKED TO ME BECAUSE YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT ME BECAUSE YOU LIKE ME?!".

"THAT'S COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE, I HAVE A FIANCÉ ALREADY! I SEE THAT YOU'RE REALLY ENERGETIC ALREADY, SO YOU SHOULD BE FINE. LET'S NEVER SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN!!!" The lady started to walk away and the blonde reached out to her,
"WAIT!! WAIT...".

The blonde turned to look at Nezuko,
"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO COME AND MESS WITH... WHAT SORT OF AN EXPRESSION IS THAT!!" Nezuko looked at the boy in disgust, while the (h/c) haired person tried to stifle their laughter.

"IT'S ALL YOURS AND Y/N'S FAULT THAT I DIDN'T GET MARRIED!!" He pointed at the person who was failing to hold in there laughter and then at Nezuko, who's looked even more disgusted,
"SAY SOMETHING!!"
"I'M GOING TO DIE ON THE NEXT MISSION IM ON! BECAUSE A CERTAIN SOMEONE REFUSES TO PROTECT ME, SO YOU NEED TO PROTECT ME BEFORE I FINALLY GET MARRIED!!"

Nezuko gestured at herself,
"My name is Nezuko Kamado!" The h/c person finally spoke up,
"You have a pretty name! I'm Y/n L/n and that's Zenitsu Agatsuma." Y/n pointed at Zenitsu who was crawled up on the floor.

Currently the three demon slayers were walking together, Y/n decided that they and Zenitsu would join Nezuko on her mission due to currently not having a mission because of the scene Zenitsu caused.

The trio arrived in front of a big house,
"This place gives off an eerie vibe" Y/n pulled a face of discomfort,
"Hey guys, can any of you two hear that sound..." the two other demon slayers turned to look at Zenitsu confused,
"Sound?" Nezuko questioned and then started to look around the area.

Y/n pointed in the direction of two young kids a boy and a girl who where clinging onto each other,
"There's two kids other there, they looked scared" Nezuko and Zenitsu turned in the direction that Y/n was pointing in,
"Kids..." Zenitsu muttered
"What's going on with them?" Nezuko walked up to the two children.

"What are you doing here?" The two children just stared at Nezuko terrified,
'Seems like they've been through quite a shock...' Nezuko kneeled down in front of the two kids,
"Tada! A sparrow!" Nezuko showed the two kids Zenitsus sparrow,
"Chirp chirp! Chirp Chirp!"
"..."
"Cute, right?"

The two children sat down in front of Nezuko still holding onto each other. Nezuko moved closer to the two kids and placed her hand on the boys shoulder as an attempt to comfort him,
"What happened? Is that your house over there?"
"No... its not..." the boy answered,
"Its... the home... of the monster..."

"Our older brother was captured by the monster. We were traveling during the night... the monster came, but it ignored the two of us anf only took our brother away..."
"The monster entered that house over there?" Nezuko gestured to the house behind her,
"Yes... yes..."

"So the two of you followed it all the way here? That's impressive, you guys are strong."
"...We were following our brother's blood trail, he's hurt..."
"Don't worry. I'll defeat the monster, and rescue your brother." Nezuko gave a reassuring smile,
"Really? Do you mean it...?" The young girl finally spoke up,
"Yes, don't worry..."

"Nezuko" Zenitsu approached the girl while,
Y/n stayed close to the house,
"What is that sound? Feels really uncomfortable... it keeps on ringing. Is that... a drum?"
"Sound? I can't hear anything..." the doors on the balcony swung open and a thumbing drum lime sound could be heard.

A body flew out of the house. It was a body of a man who was all bruised and had blood staining his clothed. Nezuko and Y/n reacted quick, with Nezuko covering the kids eyes and Y/n catching the man before he hit the floor,
"Are you alright?!" Y/n looked down at the man who they were holding onto to.

Y/n inspected the mans injuries,
'!! The wound is deep. This is...'
"I finally... got... out..." the man mumbled out, it was loud enough of to be heard by people near him,
"Ah... ah... finally... got... out..." the man was trembling,
"Got... out... side..." the man looked up to Y/n,
"Am I... going... to die...? I... am... going... to die?" Y/n didn't know what to say so they simply smiled and told the man that he's going to be okay.

The man smiled back in return, feeling a bit better mentally.

A loud noise came from inside of the house, and everyone directed there attention to the slightly opened front door of the house, the sound of a drum being hit echoed through out the area.
