The rest of the classes went by in a blur. Turns out, Dani and Bill had most of the same classes. The next thing was Lunch, and the two met back up with Tom, who found another girl. They proceeded to sit outside on the benches. Tom was talking to Dani about the girls in the school, and how hot they were to him. Bill just laughed along, making notes on his timetable about where to go and what classes to skip with Dani.

"Yeah no, that girl you want to avoid, she's had like 7 abortions and cheats all the time. She won't be loyal at all." Dani said to Tom, pointing at the girl, Tom just nodded.

"Hey, what goes on at the pep rally? We don't really have them in Germany." Tom asked while gesturing to Bill when talking about Germany.

"Oh yeah! So, basically, at this rally, the principal will give a talk on the school and what will happen during the year, and then the regular pep rally stuff will commence. Our school football team is called the Rottweilers. If you get sick of it after the principal's speech, you can leave but you probably will be tormented if you do. The trick is to sit at the back and in the corner, listening to music. No one really notices."

"You'll sit with me, right?" Bill questioned.

"Of course, always. If we get there early, no one else should bother me or talk to me. I don't wanna hold you up or anything."

"Oh no, you're okay. If you wanna talk, that's okay. It's like you forget I'm still new." He laughed.

"Feels like I've known you for a while, I can't lie. Something just clicks with me, I don't know what it is." She said while grabbing her pocket mirror and lipgloss for the 10th time today. Bill admired how she put so much into her appearance. Almost like how he does, but in the opposite way. He makes sure his eyeshadow and eyeliner are perfect, and she makes sure her hair and makeup looks perfect, its the same yet different. Opposites, even.

"Your lipgloss is really nice." He speaks quietly. She turns to him and smiles.

"Your eyeshadow is really nice." She responds.

What was left of lunch was spent walking to the gym hall, and taking the seats in the back corner. Bill could see Tom near the front with a group of skater boys who dressed similarly to him. Guess he found his friends too. Dani pulled her flip-phone out of her purse. It was silver, but decorated with pink rhinestone stickers around the edge.

"Let me get your number, we can call when we ain't at school." She stated, handing him her phone. He mumbled a response and smiled, putting his number into a contact.

"There you go." He handed her phone back and took out his own, handing it to her. She did the same and handed it back. She then noticed the girl in front of her and tapped her shoulder.

"Heyy!!" She smiled and the girl greeted her back.

"Oh my god, you know Miss Kyria? Fucked the senior boy over there." The brunette pointed to the boy, who was smiling at the teacher.

"No fucking way!" Dani gasped "I knew she was a slutbag, ever since the incident with Mr Row."

The brunette laughed and looked over at Bill

"You new?" She asked, Bill smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, this is Bill. Bill, this is Natalie, one of my closest friends." Dani introduced the two, gesturing.

Natalie had long, straight brunette hair and dressed in the same aesthetic as Dani. She had replaced the pink aspects with baby blue, but they looked like twins. She had a white lace headband on, pulling her hair back while 2 strands were pulled out and rested at the front of her face. She wore a baby blue cropped shirt and a short white skirt. Her outfit was paired with white ankle socks and white Mary-Jane heels. She also had a similar white purse to Dani.

"Nice to meet you, I like your style. Can't believe you bagged him, Dani~" Natalie purred.

"Shush, I were being nice to him in homeroom, we're friends."

The pep rally started, as the marching band began playing. Nat shortly waved goodbye and turned around.

"Fuck, I'm glad I'm missing classes for this. The jocks, not so much, but the cheerleaders are pretty. I'm good friends with a few of them." Dani smiled.

"This is like a movie or something, it's really cool!" Bill hummed, turning to look at her.

"You really are like a golden retriever underneath all the emo, it's cute!" She cooed back. Bill gave a toothy smile and turned back to the rally, as the principal walked on.

"Good afternoon, students," The principal announced. He was a monotone man, never showing emotion. "This announcement will not be long, but I would like to say that I welcome you back to this institution with open arms and I hope you had a good summer."

"This year, we will be entering the school's football league once again, so please show up to any home games! What you do before or after is none of my business, but if you turn up drunk you will be asked to go home. Keep that in mind. We don't need another incident like Mr Mackson." He mumbled that last part, but he could still be heard. Snickers and laughs echoed around the room. Dani laughed and put her head in her hands, her elbows resting on her knees.

"I'll tell you later" She mouthed to Bill, who looked a little confused.

"This week we will be asking our student body to elect new members in the freshmen year, so any freshmen who would like to join we ask to go to the meeting on Thursday lunch. Juniors, please, please, PLEASE, stop wetting the tissue paper and throwing it at the ceiling in the freshman corridor. It's not worth it. Just don't." Dani laughed at this, as it happened every year. Every group of juniors would do the same every year, it was tradition.

"Without further ado, let the 40 minutes of this rally commence!" The school cheered, as the jocks came running onto the gym floor, a rottweiler mascot following behind them wearing a shirt with the team logo and name on it. Whoever was in that suit must be sweating buckets. Maybe that's how the team manager gets skinnier?

The cheerleading team came out after them, tumbling and flipping, getting everyone to cheer.

"40 minutes is the longest one I've been to, always at the start of the year too." Dani said to Natalie, who had turned back around.

"Girl, I ain't staying. I found a way out. Hold my heels, I'll get them after." Natalie took her heels off and handed them to Dani, then proceeded to jump off the stairs. She was right, no one saw her except Dani, Bill, and the girl who was sitting next to Natalie.

"Pass me my purse, Denise!" She shout-whispered to the girl who was next to her, and she zipped up the purse and threw it down to Natalie, who caught it and walked out the exit door.

"Smart bitch" Dani huffed as she turned back to the rally.
